Artist Bobby Duke recently shared some amazing close-ups along with a comprehensive ‘making of’ video (embedded below) for his one-of-a-kind, hand-made, ‘Floating Cup Colored Pencil Carving’.
Carved from a solid block of basswood (handle is not glued), the colored pencils and cup are encased in clear resin and the sculpture measures 16.25″ high. Duke listed the artwork on eBay with no reserve and also donated 10% of the proceeds to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
