In this incredible colorized photo by Dynamichrome we see two sisters enjoying the Cherry Blossoms in bloom at Washington D.C.’s Potamac Park. The original photo (courtesy of the Library of Congress) was taken on March 28, 1925.

The two girls shown are Sumi and Sada Tamura, daughters of Teijiro Tamura, former Third Secretary of the Japanese Embassy in the United States. You can see the original black and white photo below.
