In an ongoing series entitled, “Strange Carafes“, French artist and designer Etienne Meneau creates hand-blown wine decanters that look like tree roots and circulatory systems.

Made from durable Borosilicate glass, Meneau’s decanters are designed to hold exactly one bottle of wine. The functional sculptures should be considered conversation pieces; more as works of art, rather than the best carafe/decanter for aerating your prized vintage.
