20 ft Transformers Made from Old Car Parts

Written by

Thai artist Anchalee Saengtai has created an amazing series of Transformers sculptures from old, recycled car parts. The family run business started in 2002 and Anchalee and her family build custom, made-to-order scrap metal sculptures ranging from handheld to over 6 meters tall (20 ft), for clients around the world.

In addition to Transformers the studio creates a wide variety of scrap metal animals and other popular characters from films, television and comics including: Alien, Predator, Spiderman, Star Wars, Terminator and Robocop.

For custom orders and to see the studio’s complete portfolio, check out their website, yumimodal.com.

Below you will find a gallery of their two 20-ft (6 meter) sculptures of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee along with a smaller Bumblebee version. I also included a 7′ 2″ (2.2 meter) tall Megatron so you can appreciate the detail involved in each scrap metal sculpture.
