Ink Dropped into Water on a Black Background

Written by

Alberto Seveso is an Italian artist specializing in illustration, graphic design and photography (featured previously here, here and here). Born in Milan, Seveso currently lives and works as a freelance artist in Bristol, UK.

In an ongoing exploration of ink and water, Seveso combines high-speed photography with multiple colors of ink dropped into water. The textures and patterns he creates are sublime. In his latest series entitled Blackground, Seveso captures plumes of ink underwater and isolates the results on a black background.

You can find much more of Alberto’s work at the links below along with prints and posters at several online shops also listed.
