Paris in Motion by Mayeul Akpovi

Mayeul Akpovi is a motion time-lapse photographer and short film creator from Benin and currently living in Besançon, France. In a recent series entitled Paris in Motion, Akpovi took over 6,500 photos to create two incredible timelapse, stopmotion films (shown below).

What’s intriguing about the videos is not only the amazing HD footage, but the combination of panning and timelapse photography. You can see a behind-the-scenes video of how this is achieved at the bottom of this post.

Below you will also find some individual captures from the video that show the beautiful city of Paris.
