Posted earlier this week to Reddit, a reverse image search sourced the original photograph to Donata Wenders, a German-born artist with an extensive film and photography resume. On her site, the photo is titled ‘Triad’ and is available in a 12-postcard set called Glimpses of Eternity.

Staring at this photograph may cause your eyes to strain, yet I find myself drawn to this high contrast shot of three men ascending a flight of steps. It’s hypnotic!
