Style your small spaces, thoroughfares and entryways with this new addition to our collection of natural floor coverings. Featuring a simple, yet elegant woven pattern, the Badami Mat - handcrafted in warm shade of natural jute - is a practical floor mat that will function well in the higher traffic areas of your home. The timeless woven design and neutral tone makes it perfect for adding texture to many different decor styles from coastal to farmhouse and everything in between. Ideal for small spaces and nooks like your bedside; in front of your favourite sofa and in a child's room, this rug will provide year-round softness and warmth underfoot. The women first plait long strands of jute, and then assemble the Badami pattern row by row, before stitching the pieces together using needle and thread. A genuine Fair Trade partnership ensures the women who make our Badami mats are paid fairly, provided with consistent work and safe working conditions, among a host of other benefits that are in keeping with the Ten Principles of Fair Trade. From room refreshes done to shake up surroundings to furniture redos done to circumvent global supply chain issues, 2021 was a big year for DIYs. Starting a new business can be daunting, even if you’re a talented designer. Design experience does not always equate to experience managing a business, and you might find yourself a little overwhelmed at your growing check-list and unclear on how to prioritize it.There are plenty of things that you can do and pay for to validate your expertise and advertise it to the masses, but there are a handful of quality investments that should be made on the front end that will put you on the right track
Hej! Rör, element etc, renoveras in bakom elementskydd eller målas in med väggfärg. Bilder via pinterest

Every once in a while when I’m scrolling through Instagram, a room or project will literally stop me in my tracks of just glazing over images and mindlessly double-tapping. That happened to me this past weekend, and I thought I’d share what it was because, well, I haven’t felt this inspired to pick up a paint brush in a while. Take a look at artist and designer Katie Sarokhanian’s entry here, shown in the images both right above and below.
