The So What Shruggie is a seamless crew neck shruggie meant for showing off that indie-dyed yarn you've been saving for a special occasion ;) With a body-less silhouette, this shruggie is perfect for layering on a spring or fall day, or a chilly summer evening. Constructed from the top down, the shoulders are knit back and forth before being connected in the round to form the body. The sleeves are picked up in the round at the shoulders and the edges are finished off with I-cord edging. This pattern is written for intermediate knitters and was designed using a single strand of Hobbii Carnival yarn (100g/250m) on 5mm needles. Substitutions are welcome, but be sure to check gauge before starting! Sizes: US [XS-5XL] Materials: 5mm circular needles with at least 24-inch (60-cm) cord (optional) 5mm circular needles with 8-inch (20cm) cord for the sleeves (optional) 5mm DPNs for the sleeves/I-cord edging (optional) 5.5 mm circular needles for I-cord bind-off (if you tend to knit more tightly) 380(440)490(550)600(660)710(770)820 yds [350(400)450(500)550(600)650(700)750 m] DK/worsted [100g/270yds(250m)] tapestry needle stitch markers Gauge: 4x4 in [10x10 cm] square in stockinette 16 stitches x 20 rows

I grew up spending summers in a little country village in the south of France where nothing ever really happened. To romanticise those hot, sleepy days, I spent many hours devouring movies in the evening; seductive dramas and romantic comedies that played out in the Mediterranean; watching them agai

When it’s taken too far, capitalism becomes a mockery of itself, encouraging greed instead of rewarding effort and innovation. If you take a moment to really look at the state of the world right now, you might come to the conclusion that we’re living in a bizarre dystopia of sorts where consumerism is king, employees are burned out, and corporations (arguably) run rampant despite all the distrust that’s growing.
