Heute melde ich mich aus dem Urlaub, denn ich möchte euch mein Projekt zeigen, dass ich unbedingt noch für den Urlaub fertig haben wollte. Ich habe eine „A Place for Everything 2.0“-Tasche nach einem Schnittmuster von ByAnnie für mich genäht. Die Stoffe, die ich verwendet habe, sind alle von Tula Pink. Die verschiedenen Stoffserien von Tula Pink passen farblich alle zueinander, so dass man seine Lieblingsstoffe super kombinieren kann. Mein absoluter Favorit ist die „Nähmaschine“ aus der „Homemade“-Kollektion. Deshalb durfte sie auch vorne und hinten auf die Tasche. Die „A Place for Everthing 2.0“ hat sehr viel Platz. In ihr kann ich alle Sachen, die ich für meine EEP (English Paper piecing)-Projekte brauche, transportieren. Eigentlich hatte ich dafür ja diese Tasche genäht, aber um alles unterzubringen war sie dann doch zu klein. Ohne die „Einlegetaschen“ sieht die Innentasche so aus: Es gibt zwei Innentaschen aus Mesh, eine davon mit Reißverschluss. Die „Einlegetaschen“ können beliebig genäht werden. Ich habe zwei „Einlagetaschen“ genäht. Jede besteht aus zwei Seiten mit verschiedenen Unterteilungen. Eine Seite ist jeweils gleich mit zwei Taschen aus Mesh. Die anderen Seiten bestehen einmal aus verschieden großen Vinylfächer. Damit nichts rausfällt werden sie jeweils mit einem Reißverschluss verschlossen. Und einmal aus verschieden großen Meshtaschen. Die „Einlegetaschen“ werden mit einem Gurt in der Mitte der Tasche befestigt. Natürlich darf ein kleiner „Handmade“-Anhänger nicht fehlen. Zusätzlich zu den Tragegriffen kann noch ein Tragegurt befestigt werden. Dies war mein erster „ByAnnie“-Schnitt, den ich genäht habe. Ich hatte etwas unterschätzt wie zeitaufwendig diese Tasche ist, aber ich finde, es hat sich gelohnt. Ich mag diese Tasche sehr. Zeitaufwendig ist sie deshalb, da die einzelnen Teile alle mit „Soft and stable“ gequiltet werden. Ich habe diesmal zwei neue Quiltmuster (Shattered Quilting und Echoing In) aus dem Buch „Walk“ von Jacquie Gering ausprobiert. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist es übrigens, dass innen rechts auf rechts genäht wird und die Nahtzugaben außen mit einem Binding versehen werden. Dadurch bekommt die Tasche aber einen tollen Stand. Bei den „ByAnnie“-Schnitten gibt es zusätzliche Add-on Videos zu einzelnen Schritten in der Anleitung, die sehr hilfreich sind. Außerdem gibt es auf ihrer Internetseite und auch auf YouTube tolle Videos zu verschiedenen Themen. Ich habe zum Beispiel das Bias Binding nach ihrem Video hergestellt. Das hat super geklappt. Das war bestimmt nicht das letzte Schnittmuster von „ByAnnie“, das ich genäht habe. Nun geht es aber wieder in den Urlaubsmodus. Liebe Grüße Britta Verlinkt beim Creativsalat.
