Few would argue if we said that pets are an endless source of joy and happiness in our lives. Therefore, there is no surprise people are trying to immortalize them in every way possible. This Aussie painter, Vanessa Stockard, found the best way to do that by sneaking her three adorable cats, Kevin The Kittin, his mom Fluff Ferstenberg and the head of the adorable fluff family, Satan, into her paintings. Stockard’s process includes pieces developed without visual reference but rather from memory. These narratives incorporate domestic pets such as cats and dogs, juxtaposing the anthropomorphic nature of these animals are given by society, she infuses the personification of virtue and vice into the everyday canine and feline status quo. Cats with their fluffy comical exteriors yet instinctual urge to kill and a tendency to be cruel to their prey, dogs with their providence of happiness and friendship flung back to Churchill’s metaphor for depression. Despite this not-so -cheerful description of her works, Stockard manages to make her art somehow quirky and very enjoyable!

A rolled canvas print is normally stretched on wood stretcher bars, whereas archival paper prints are not. Additionally, a stretched canvas can be framed, but it doesn't need to be. Thus, our rolled canvas prints come in their advertized size + mirrored edges by default for easy stretching. Prefer a cut to size rolled canvas print instead, because you want to frame it in a traditional fine art frame behind glass? Then just type ''cut to size'' in our personalization box (listing top right ''add your personalization''). Note that our rolled canvas prints do not come with stretcher bars or frames. Either take it to your local framer, or stretch/frame it yourself. Other sizes than listed in our drop-down menu available upon request! Have something in mind that you don't see in our shop? About The Artwork Jelly fish I would describe the three AI-generated images of jellyfish in the deep ocean shimmering with vibrant colours as awe-inspiring and ethereal works of art that showcase the infinite possibilities of artificial intelligence in the realm of visual arts. The images of jellyfish are particularly captivating, as these sea creatures have a long history of cultural symbolism across different societies and cultures. The use of vibrant colours in these images further adds to the ethereal and otherworldly quality of the jellyfish, giving them a sense of luminescence and iridescence that captures the imagination of the viewer. The shimmering colors of the jellyfish seem to pulsate and move with a life of their own, creating a sense of fluidity and motion that is both mesmerising and mysterious. What is particularly fascinating about these images is how they demonstrate the potential of AI-generated art to push the boundaries of traditional art forms and create entirely new visual languages. By merging the cultural symbolism of jellyfish with the endless creative possibilities of AI, these images create a sense of wonder and awe that is both timeless and cutting-edge. Overall, the three AI-generated images of jellyfish in the deep ocean shimmering with vibrant colours are stunning examples of the power and potential of AI in the world of art, while also celebrating the diverse cultural symbolism of these mesmerising sea creatures. It can sometimes seem like the bigger the dog, the more love it has to give its owner and the world. And while we totally love our smaller canine companions, the gigantic Great Danes are a sight to behold. Friendly, social, and charming, these floppy-eared loveable dogs are considered by some to be the perfect match for families.

As popular a pet as cats are in modern day households, it was the dog that dominated the home and hearth of the 18th and early 19th century. Cats had their admirers, of course, amongst whom were such literary luminaries as Samuel Johnson and Lord Byron, but in general, their primary value lay in their ability to keep the premises free from vermin.
