The best things come in small packages! Beloved florist Jill Rizzo (coauthor of the bestselling Flower Recipe Book) is back, and this time she has turned her attention to charming miniature arrangements. Projects are organized seasonally, and range from a thimble-sized vase of pansies to a tiny teacup holding a bundle of zinnias to a bud vase with a single Japanese anemone. All told, the book contains over 100 easy-to-follow recipes: ingredients lists specify the type and quantity of blooms needed; clear instructions detail each step; and hundreds of photos show how to place every stem. The featured flowers include varieties widely available at florists or farmers' markets as well as tiny treasures found sprouting from sidewalks and walls, clipped from the landscape or garden, or pruned from common houseplants. The book also includes ideas for unexpected vessels (dollhouse suppliers are a great source for miniature vases!), a flower care primer, and all the design techniques readers need to know. 350 color photographs

Scabiosa pods are the most unique bloom with interesting brown texture and shape. Each pod is typically about 1-2 inches in diameter and can vary in size from season to season. Used in some of our collections, these work well in bouquets or smaller arrangements such as corsages, boutonnieres, and bud vases. Similar to limonium, these have a paper-like texture and are very hardy. One bunch contains 10 stems.

Home decor is personal. It should reflect your taste, style and interests. This year, flower arrangements are making a comeback as a popular way to add a personal touch to your home. Bouquets are quickly becoming part of everyday decor in today’s homes. The resurgence of flower arranging can be attributed to rising popularity of shows like The Crown and Bridgerton, which feature beautiful floral displays throughout the homes of their characters. People are also becoming more interested in adding personal touches to their homes. If you’re thinking of incorporating floral designs into your home decor, here are five tips to get you started: Tip #1: Supplies You Need to Get Started You’ll need a few supplies to get started. Begin by finding a vase or container. Make sure to choose a vessel that compliments the style of your home. Surprising and unique containers like antique pitchers, teapots or even mason jars can make great flower holders. Next, you’ll need flower frogs or similar devices to keep your blooms in place. Flower frogs are small pieces of metal or ceramic that have a series of holes for holding flower stems. Check out our ceramic flower frog toppers here. Also, a great pair of sharp garden scissors necessary so that you don’t smash the stems when cutting them. Our favorite scissors are the Barebones Garden Scissors that can be found here Finally, you’ll need some fresh flowers! My very favorite garden scissors can be found here Tip #2: Choosing the Right Flowers When it comes to flower arranging, the most important thing is to choose the right flowers for your arrangement. This can seem like a huge task, but there are a few things you can keep in mind that will help you choose the perfect accents for your home. First, …
