Hello stampers, Masculine & Sympathy cards are never easy for me to do, but trying to put the 2 together made me struggle even more. I searched online to find something since the card I had in my mind didn't turn out like I had expected. I ended up finding a card that Jeannie Nielsen made which I CASEd. I began this card with a Misty Moonlight Cardstock base followed by a layer of Mossy Meadow Cardstock. I used Basic White Cardstock to stamp on using the Forever Fern Stamp Set with Misty Moonlight & Mossy Meadow Ink. The sentiment I used was from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink. ~Thanks for stopping by! All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
Hello stampers, Today's card was inspired by a sketch challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments. Yesterday I shared a short video on my FB page about the below set, dies & papers that will be coming on March 1st. I started this card with a layer of Basic White Cardstock then took a piece the Hello, Irresistible DSP & cut it down so the 2 sides were the same with the middle a tad larger but leaving a border around each piece. Next, I decided to do some embossing so I used Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight & Granny Apple Green Cardstocks stamping the roses & leaves from the Irresistible Blooms Bundle with Versamark, the white EP from the Basic Emboss Powders & Heat Tool, then die-cut each one using the matching dies. For the sentiment, I used Flirty Flamingo Cardstock & again embossed one of the sentiments from the set then fussy cut the banner end with Paper Snips. I also die-cut a circle from Basic White Cardstock using Layering Circle Dies. I added the DSP layer to a layer of Daffodil Delight Cardstock, then to a Flirty Flamingo Cardstock base. I played around with the assortment before I attached everything with glue, then attached the circle of flowers to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. On March 1st, Stampin' Up! will release some Online Exclusives. These exclusive items will be released throughout the year & will not appear in any catalog. The card above uses a few of these exclusives (dies not pictured). Paper Measurements- Flirty Flamingo Cardstock: Base – 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Scrap- 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 Strip- 1 x 2 1/4 Daffodil Delight Cardstock: Layer – 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 Scrap- 2 1/4 x 2/14 Basic White Cardstock: Layer – 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 Circle- 3 x 3 Granny Apple Green Cardstock: Strip – 1 1/2 x 4 1/4 Hello, Irrisistible DSP: Layer – 3 7/8 x 5 ~Thanks for stopping by! Hello stampers, Today I'm participating in a New Catalog Blog Hop with demonstrators around the world. I'm so excited with all the new colors, papers & stamp sets. I'm sharing my favorite stamp set so far from the new catalog which is Cheerful Daisies & a fun fold to boot. I got this fun fold idea from Jackie Bolhuis & you can watch her video HERE, so you can make your own card. For this card I used Garden Green, Basic White & Thick Basic White Cardstocks with the Fresh As A Daisy DSP. For the focal point, I used the Thick Basic White because I thought it would stand up a bit better being slid on/off the card with the band. I stamped the stem & leaves from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set directly on the cardstock using the Garden Green Ink Pad. For the flower, I ran one of the floral dies both the full & the detailed die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies using Basic White Cardstock & stamping the center using the Crushed Curry Ink Pad, then with the Stampin' Blends Deep Combo Pack I colored just around the center of the flower like it is on the paper. I then adhered the full & the detailed die cut together using Multipurpose Glue & then popping it up using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, this was then adhered to the belly band. The sentiment I chose came from the Lasting Joy Stamp Set & was stamped directly on the thick cardstock using the Garden Green Ink Pad. For the inside of the card, I used Basic White Cardstock & stamped the flower bunch using the Crushed Curry Ink Pad & a sentiment from the set using Garden Green Cardstock. Paper Measurements- Garden Green Cardstock: Base - 11 x 5 1/2 Band - 10 x 1 Basic White Cardstock: Layer - 4 x 5 1/4 Thick Basic White Cardstock: Layer - 2 x 3 1/4 Fresh As A Daisy DSP: Layer - (2) 1 x 5 1/4 Layer - (2) 1 3/4 x 5 1/4 Follow the links below to see what the other demonstrators made for their new catalog projects. Hello stampers, I'm so glad to be able to join in on today's Crafty Collaborations blog hop, I haven't been able to finish a card in time to join in a while, YAY me! LOL The set I chose to use is the Treasured Kindness Stamp Set. When I first saw this set it just reminded me of my time on Okinawa & it's been on my list to get for a while. I began my card by die-cutting a piece of Basic White Cardstock & Old Olive Cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I embossed a layer of Soft Suede Cardstock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. On the white cardstock, I stamped the ground with Mossy MeadowInk; the tree stump with Soft Suede Ink (stamped off once for the solid); the leaves with Old Olive Ink (stamped off once for the solid); & for the sun I used Crushed Curry Ink. I stamped a sentiment from the set onto the Old Olive Cardstock piece with Soft Suede Ink. To assemble, I attached the embossed layer onto a Soft Suede Cardstock base with Multipurpose Glue, then attached the stamped images to each other before adding them to the card. Follow the blog hop links below to see what the other participants made & show them some love with your comments. Blog Hop Index ~Thanks for stopping by! Hello stampers, Back to Christmas today! I finally was able to work with Vintage Christmas, I got this set because it works with the Bottled Happiness set, but I was having trouble lining it up so put it to the side. Well, last night it all came together somehow. I started this card with a Soft Succulent Cardstock base, scoring it at 3-1/4 & 4-1/4, then used the Lights Aglow DSP as a layer on both sides. I added the Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon in between the scoring marks before gluing down that part with Multipurpose Glue. For the stamped image, I used the Vintage Christmas Stamp Set with Basic White Cardstock along with Soft Succulent, Polished Pink, Soft Suede & Evening Evergreen Ink Pads. I also stamped the little circle greeting using Polished Pink Ink then used a retired scalloped circle punch before popping it up with a Stampin' Dimensional. This piece was then backed with a Polished Pink Cardstock layer before adding to the card base & layer. ~Thanks for stopping by! All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted. Hello stampers, Had another post ready to go for today then realized last night that today was Friday which meant I needed to do a fun fold card. So I went searching for a fun fold & found one on Janet Wakeland's blog. I did switch something on my card though & I'll tell you about it below. For this card, I actually started with the inside piece, which is where my card differs from Janet's. I used a Basic White Cardstock layer, then added 1" Wonderful World DSP on both sides, my next step was to cut the Mossy Meadow Cardstock opening piece down to 3"x10.5" and then scored it at 5.25". This allows me to rest my inside layer onto the back of the 3" wide piece before adhering it to a Mossy Meadow Cardstock card front base of 4.25"x5.5". The stamp set I used is a bundle with the DSP in the upcoming SAB catalog called Wonderful World. To color the flower I actually used Melon Mambo & Mossy Meadow Stampin' Write Markers direct to stamp then huffed on the stamp before stamping on the Basic White Cardstock that was cut out using Layering Circle Dies. This was then adhered to a Melon Mambo Cardstock scalloped circle cut out using the same dies. For the sentiment, I used the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set with Melon Mambo Ink on Basic White Cardstock, then punched both ends with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch Here is the inside of the card, you can't really tell but it is tucked between the 2 layers, this then leaves you a bit of space to write something down the middle. ~Thanks for stopping by! All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted. Hello stampers, Happy Friday everyone, I'll be enjoying a few hours at the vet today I'm sure, so not a great start to the day but hopefully, it won't be too bad. Today, I'm sharing a card from this past Monday's Mystery Stamping with Sharon Armstrong, so if you want to duplicate it you'll have to go to her youtube link HERE for all the card measurements & such. For the base & background layers, I used Calypso Coral Cardstock along with the Fancy Flora DSP & Basic White Cardstock. I used the Two-Tone Flora Stamp Set for the outside flower & the inside flowers with Calypso Coral & Evening Evergreen Inks. For the sentiments, I used the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set with Calypso Coral Ink. This is what the inside of the card looks like, the left side of the card would come in first then the right which has the larger flower on it. ~Thanks for stopping by! Hello stampers, I hope y'all had a wonderful holiday weekend, we started ours on Friday by passing out toys to the kids in our community which was fun & I'm so happy that the weather held with just a little wind but no rain like was forecasted. Christmas was nice & quiet & was spent watching Hallmark movies all day, I was a bit surprised that football didn't make its way on the tv LOL! Today's card is a monochromatic masculine card using the Wildlife Wonder Stamp Set that will be out next week. Can it really be the end of 2021 already? I started the cards with a Crumb Cake Cardstock base followed by a layer of Basic White Cardstock that I had stamped using the Birch Background Stamp with Crumb Cake Ink. I stamped each animal from the Wildlife Wonder Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock using Crumb Cake Ink then used a retired square punch to punch them out, then backed them up with Soft Suede Cardstock that was punched out using a size bigger square punch. I then placed all 4 squares onto a bigger Crumb Cake Cardstock base before attaching it to the card. ~Thanks for stopping by! All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted. Hello stampers, Today I'm sharing another card I made for a Creativate pre-challenge, this time a sketch. I have to share that I was very slow in stamping yesterday with my friend Carol, I think she ended up making like 4 cards, but in my defense, I was also answering a few problem texts. She has the ability to just CASE a card while I tend to overthink with my process. 🤷♀️ So I really like the flowered pieces in the Fancy Flora DSP, I hope that the paint texture side will rub off on me a bit more. I took a piece of this DSP & layered it with Evening Evergreen Cardstock which was then layered on a Soft Suede Cardstock base. For the strip, I used Soft Succulent Cardstock embossed with the Paint Texture 3D Embossing Folder instead of another piece of DSP. For the sentiment, I used the True Beauty Stamp Set with Soft Suede Ink on Basic White Cardstock then die cut it using Layering Circle Dies, this was then popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals before attaching to the card. Lastly, I attached a few Brushed Brass Butterflies to finish the card off. Paper Measurements- Soft Suede Cardstock: Base – 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Evening Evergreen Cardstock: Layer – 2 1/2 x 2 5/8 Soft Succulent Cardstock: Layer – 4 x 1 Basic White Cardstock: Layer – 2 x 2 Fancy Flora DSP: Layer – 3 x 4 1/4 ~Thanks for stopping by! Hello stampers, Today's card is a Sneak Peek at a new set that will be in the new Sale-A-Bration catalog. Yep, you read that right if you didn't know already we have 2 SAB events now. I tend to gravitate to floral sets, so this caught my eye right away. I started this card with a Basic White Cardstock base followed by a layer of Daffodil Delight Cardstock where I stamped the line image from the Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set using Mango Melody Ink. For the focal image, I stamped the solid image with Daffodil Delight Ink, then used a dauber to add Pumpkin Pie Ink to the center before stamping it onto Basic White Cardstock. I then went over this with the line image using Mango Melody Ink. The sentiment was from the recently retired Happy Thoughts Stamp Set stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink, this piece was then backed by Pumpkin Pie Cardstock then attached to the rest of the card. ~Thanks for stopping by! Hello stampers, This month's Crafty Challenge Blog Hop is using the 2021-23 In Colors. I chose to use Polished Pink. I just love using this set! I started with a Polished Pink Cardstock base followed by a layer of the beautiful Expressions In Ink DSP (It was really hard to cut this paper up but I was brave!LOL) I stamped the small flower from the Artistically Inked Stamped Set using Polished Pink Ink on Basic White Cardstock, then die cut them using the Artistic Dies. To pull the gold from the DSP paper I used Gold Foil & also die cut the leaves using the Artistic Dies. I finished the card off by using a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set with Polished Pink Ink. ~Thanks for stopping by! Now follow along to see what creations others made! Hello stampers, Today I'm getting into thinking about Christmas cards since the weather has finally turned to fall where I'm at & I'm already seeing snow pics from friends & family. I definitely don't miss it being that cold, BRR! For today's card, I'm featuring the Window Wishes Bundle. I started by die-cutting the window from Crumb Cake & Basic White Cardstock. On the full inside piece of Basic White Cardstock, I stamped the tree using Crumb Cake Ink (stamped off once) then stamped the snowflakes in VersaMark Ink & embossed them with the retired Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder for a little glimmer. This was then attached to the more intricate window die using Multipurpose Glue. For the outer window, I used Crumb Cake Cardstock then attached the sill part using the same cardstock with Multipurpose Glue. I used Basic White Cardstock & stamped the candles using Balmy Blue Ink (stamped off once) then colored the wicks using So Saffron & Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends Combo Packs then attached them to both pieces of the window. I used Basic White Cardstock for the wreath using Shaded Spruce Ink, then attached a die-cut Balmy Blue Cardstock bow before attaching to the window. I embossed a layer of Basic White Cardstock using the Brick & Mortart 3D Embossing Folder & attaching it to a Basic White Cardstock base. The window was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals. ~Thanks for stopping by! All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted. Hello stampers, I decided to play with Enjoy The Moment again. If I was a florist or gardener I probably could come up with plenty of ideas to make with this set, but for now it just stumps me. I went with an all new color palette to me on this card & I really like the combo. I started with a Mossy Meadow Cardstock base followed by a Night of Navy Cardstock layer. I stamped 4 of the pods from the Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock using Night Of Navy, Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow & Soft Suede Ink, then took a Stampin' Up! Blender (this is the only way I can "watercolor" where it looks good LOL) to color each of the pods. I then took a strip of Basic White Cardstock & die cut it using the Big Shot & the Rectangle Stitched Framelits before I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set in Merry Merlot Ink. ~Thanks for stopping by! All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
Hello stampers, It's been a rough week as I've been having vestibular problems & every time I think that it's gone, it shows me I'm wrong. So I thought I'd write up this blog post real quick while I'm having a good moment. I was so excited to see the new mini catalog & order the Kindest Gnomes Bundle. I just LOVE gnomes but I'm very particular about their look, but this set got my 100% approval, my husband not so much as he just rolled his eyes at me when I showed him what I got. LOL! I started this card off with Crumb Cake Cardstock as the base of the card. For the stamped piece, I used Basic White Cardstock, all the images are from the new Kindest Gnomes Stamp Set & the sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set stamped with Memento Black Ink. LOTS of coloring was done using- Crumb Cake, Real Red, Starry Sky, So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Gray Granite, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Light & Medium Light Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. Good thing I got this card done before all my problems started or this might have been a mess with all the coloring. LOL! ~Thanks for stopping by! Hello stampers, I've missed a lot of Monday Mystery Stamping cards, so I thought I'd work on the newest one first which uses DSP. I don't have a lot of the DSP that have lots of different designs, so I chose the Fresh As A Daisy DSP once again. I started with a small layer of Bubble Bath Cardstock, then attached the 3 pieces of Fresh As A Daisy DSP equally spaced with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, since that allows you a little bit of time to rearrange if you didn't get it placed where you wanted it to go. The main focal image was then attached to the subdued piece of DSP & the Bubble Bath Cardstock base. For the sentiment, I used the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set with Moody Mauve Ink & Basic White Cardstock, fussy cut it down to the size I wanted with Paper Snips & added a layer of Bubble Bath Cardstock also fussy cut down to size, which was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a few 2023-25 In Color Dots & a white twine bow from the Basics Paper Measurements- Bubble Bath Cardstock: Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Layer - 3 1/4 x 4 1/8 Basic White Cardstock: Scrap for sentiment Fresh As A Daisy DSP: Layer - 4 x 5 1/4 Layer - 1 x 4 (3) ~Thanks for stopping by! Hello stampers, Today I'm sharing a card for the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop- Christmas In July. It's hard to think of Christmas or even winter when you are dealing with triple digits & it's still upper 90s at 9pm, but I managed to get this card done using some new items out of the Jul-Dec Catalog. I started with an Evening Evergreen Cardstock base, followed by a layer of Lights Aglow 6x6 DSP. This paper is very pretty both sides have the regular DSP look, but one side has gold foil added to the paper (like the paper I'm using but it may be a tad hard to see.) Next, I used Evening Evergreen & Gold Foil & die cut them using the Twinkling Lights Dies & adhered them together using Multipurpose Glue. I then used Soft Succulent Cardstock with the Labels Aglow Dies, then stamped inside the sentiment box using Brightest Glow Stamp Set with Evening Evergreen Ink before adhering it to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Now, please follow along using the links below & show some love to all the other demonstrators who have joined this blog hop with me. Blog Hop Index ~Thanks for stopping by! Hello stampers, Today I'm hopping with the Crafty Collaborations FB group for their Share it Sunday blog hop, which like the title says we can share any project we have from Stampin' Up! So I thought I would make a card from a set that I haven't used since I bought it *EEK*. I started the card off with a Basic White Cardstock base, followed by a layer of the Peaceful Place DSP for a snowy backdrop feel. I used the Artic Bears Stamp Set to stamp the ridge onto Basic White Cardstock using Smoky Slate Ink then fussy cut it out. I then stamped both bears from the set with Smoky Slate Ink then cut them out using the Polar Bear Dies before attaching them to the ridge using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. For the North Star, I used the retired Starlight Thinlet Dies, since I don't have a current star die that I could find, Follow the links below to see what everyone else has made for this blog hop. ~Thanks for stopping by! Welcome to my blog and to Countdown Day 2 to the My Favorite Things August Vault Release which as you probably already know is all about Birdie Brown past sets. My card today features Witch Way Is The Candy, perfect for your Halloween cards. I love making backgrounds and I think they get to be especially fun when creating one's for Halloween cards. For this card I blended Distress Oxides, Squeezed Lemonade in the centre and then softly blended in Seedless Preserves around that then Ground Espresso followed by Black Soot. I splashed water on the panel and blotted it up and added dots for stars with a white gel pen as well. The panel was then die cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangles STAX Die-namics to be slightly smaller than A2 and then mounted to a white A2 panel. I die cut the Spooky Fence Die-namics using Black Licorice Prestige Cardstock and glue this directly to my panel. I stamped the Witch Way Is The Candy images and coloured them with Copic markers. Here is my colour palette:- Hat, Cloak, Cat, Bat - T9, T7, T5, T3 Eyes - B00, BG000 Frog, Hair - G46, G24, G43 Purples - V17, V15, V12 Pumpkins - YR09, YR07, YR04, Y38 Skin - E04, E11, E21, E00 Cheeks - R20, R21 Broom - YR04, E51, E43, W4 A white gel pen was used to highlight some points and the elements were die cut using the coordinating die-namics. I played around with the arrangement and then once happy everything was adhered either directly or with foam tape for dimension. Last thing was to stamp the sentiment which fit perfectly on to a sentiment strip created using Stitched Sentiment Strips, this was applied with more foam tape. Card complete! I'll be back tomorrow with a new vault release countdown card - join me then! Happy crafting!
Hello stampers, Sorry all I have really been doing a lot of procrastinating when it has come to stamping. Today is actually the first day I've actually sat at my craft table in abt 2 weeks. Which isn't good because I still need to work on Christmas cards, UGH! Today's card is actually for last week's BSU challenge which was a sketch made by Carol. Now, I'm not usually a square card girl but I thought I'd shock Carol a bit by actually doing her sketch to specs. I started with a Whisper White Cardstock base, followed by a strip of Pool Party Cardstock that I stamped the sparkles from the Beautiful Baubles Stamp Set using Night Of Navy Ink. Next, I took another Whisper White piece stamped the baubles from the same set using Memento Black Ink & cut it out using the Big Shot with the Stitched Shapes Framelits & the Layering Circles Framelits with Night Of Navy Cardstock. After putting the card together I used a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock stamped one of the sentiments from the set with Night Of Navy Ink, used the Triple Banner Punch for the edged & then used a dauber to sponge some Pool Party Ink around the banner before attaching it the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Card Measurements Whisper White-4.25"x8.5" Pool Party-.75"x4.25" Don't forget to head on over to Carol's blog HERE and then to Stace's blog HERE. To see what both did for this week's challenge. I'm sure both will be fantastic. Hope you try this challenge out too! We have a new Facebook group if you want to join us and show us what you came up with HERE. ~Thanks for stopping by! All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.

I'm continuing to share new cards featuring products from the July Vault Release by MFT Stamps and today my card uses the following re-released products:- Flashy Florals Flashy Florals Die-namics Inside & Out Stitched Oval Stax Die-namics Twice The Wishes A2 Stitched Rectangles Sets 2 Stax Die-namics I was so happy when MFT re-released the Oval Stax Die-namics and I die cut using the largest in the set and ink blended in a soft pink and soft minty green. I distressed it by spritzing on watered down white acrylic paint and when dry I stamped the sentiment, then backed the panel with dimensional foam tape and applied it to a panel of white cardstock scaled down by using the Rectangles Stax Die-namics and in turn this was glued to a pale pink panel in full A2 size. I stamped the Flashy Florals and die cut using the coordinating die-namics and first of all added the main flower using dimensional foam tape and then added in the greenery by tuck them behind the main bloom and added a few more mini flowers to brighten it up. To finish this simple birthday card I applied some pink Nuvo drops. Thanks for stopping by! Back tomorrow with one last card for this vault release, hope to see you here then.

One final project today for the MFT Stamps July Vault Release which is available now. Here's what I've used for this birthday card:- Interactive Birthday Cake Die-namics Twice The Wishes Mice Day To Celebrate Mice Day To Celebrate Die-namics A2 Stitched Rectangles Set 2 Stax Die-namics I used MFT's lovely Prestige cardstock to create the cake and glued the components together backing it with foam tape. I adhered the cake to a panel that was ink blended using Black Soot, Shaded Lilac and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks and which had also be sized using the Stax Die-namics. I backed the blended panel with white craft foam, popped it in my Misti and double stamped the pretty sentiment. The whole panel was then adhered to a white A2 panel then to the card base. I stamped three of the adorable mice from Mice Day To Celebrate and coloured them with the following Copic markers:- Mice - E31, E41, E40 Blushes - R22, R21, R00, R000 Purple - V17, V04, V12, V01 Candle Shading - C3, C1 Points were highlighted with a white gel pen and then they were die cut and applied with foam tape. For the finishing celebratory touch I adhered a scattering of teeny tiny silver star embellishments so as to look like the exuberant mouse at the top had burst out of the cake and thrown confetti ..... looks like there are going to be lots of footprints in the buttercream icing!!! Thanks for joining me on my blog today - it is always appreciated.
