Images via Mr Printables Normally F is great at expressing how he feels and describing his emotions, but recently he has been getting frustrated and loosing his temper – whether it's his coat zipper getting stuck, puzzle pieces not fitting, being told not to climb on the table – basically anything can trigger it and the reactions can range from a stamping of feet to shouting, and the occasional physical lash out. For now I'm not worried as he's always been a super chilled kid, very gentle and kind to others. Currently I'm putting this behaviour down to a development leap mixed with his wanting to be more independent. So when I saw this DIY Face from Mr Printables I had to share it with you. This great craft activity is perfect for teaching kids a range of emotions and also fun to make with these super easy instructions, not to mention how cool it looks. They say that teaching emotional intelligence to your child is the key to a happy adult so I'm hoping that this might help F be able to explain his frustrations and help me understand what's going on that head of his. Check out my DIY and Crafts Pinterest board for other fun activities.
