Saoirse means 'liberty' in Irish. This design was influenced by the beautiful ladies of Art Nouveau, Celtic goddesses and the celebration of a strong beautiful female face. This sculpted lady stares wistfully out from where you hang her and looks beautiful caught in the light in an entryway, welcoming you or any friends visiting. REGARDING OUTDOOR PLACEMENT : This lady is painted with layers of acrylics, then several layers of a clear UV resistant PU spray to protect against weathering. Please note - When outdoors weathering will occur over time and full sun will bleach colour very quickly, so a shady spot out of direct sunlight is advised. Colour maintenance and product care :- It's advisable to bring indoors in extreme frost or heat. For a longer lasting paint colour you can wipe off dirt with a wet cloth every 6months, then recoat with several thin layers of a clear lacquer spray (please do this in a well ventilated area) THE CREATIVE PROCESS : Designed on paper -- sculpted in clay -- cast in resin --- hand painted using a variety of painting techniques and layers to produce a verdigris-style paint effect. Takes a few days to cast, paint and varnish and always double checked for quality before being sent out to her new home. Thanks for your visit! Please note, I use biodegradable bubblewrap and cardboard packaging so all recyclable 💗 🌍💗
