Welcome to week 11 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. Another week closer to Christmas and more inspiration from the Art With Heart Team. This week I have combined the Delivering Cheer stamp set and the Peaceful Prints Speciality DSP from the Sale-a-bration rewards to make my card. There is only a couple of weeks remaining until the end of Sale-a-bration so don’t forget to place your orders before the end of September to receive your FREE rewards. To make my cards I stamped the skit image on the red check and snowflake piece of DSP and cut it out. I then stamped the same image again on a 2” wide strip of Basic White cardstock and coloured in the legs and shoes with Blends Markers. I attached the patterned paper skirt above the legs with glue or tape. I stamped the image of the arms holding the tree on a separate piece of Basic White cardstock and again coloured with the Blends Markers. I cut out this image and mounted it with Dimensionals over the skirt. I cut the top of the strip with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch. The bow on the top is Real Red Sheer Ribbon. For the background of my card I cut three Stitched Rectangles from another of the Peaceful Prints DSP pack. These were mounted on a Basic Black card base. The greeting was heat embossed in white on Real Red cardstock. I’m very pleased with how my card turned out and I’m loving using my free Sale-a-bration products, don’t forget to order before the end of September to receive yours. All of the products I have used to make these c adds are listed below with links to my online store if you are interested in purchasing. For more Christmas inspiration it’s time to visit Andrea Sargent’s blog to view her stunning project. If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s Host of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop, Tina Gillespie, and she will have the list of all who are participating. Thank you for stopping by and make sure you enjoy the beautiful projects from the other Art With Heart team members. That's a question, because you won't see candy canes on this card. Welcome to my Day 4 of Merry Mondays featuring the Sweet Candy Canes stamps and Candy Canes dies. I'm highlighting this bundle all week to show you the versatility of this cute set. But today, no candy canes. I did, however, use one of the greetings from the stamp set, along with several patterns of the designer paper, Sweetest Christmas: And I think it's one of my favs this week! Look at that cute ornament - it's actually a 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Window sheet, to which I adhered strips of the designer paper cut in random widths. Once done, I cut it with the largest Layering Circle die. But I needed an ornament "topper", and I found that one of the little flower pots from the Perfect Plants dies fit the bill perfectly! It's cut from Gold Foil sheets, and is mounted on a Dimensional with a short piece of gold cord from the Simply Elegant Trim pack. This is all adhered to a piece of Basic White cardstock embossed with the Merry Melody embossing folder. Isn't this just the most wonderful card of the week? 😁 I'd love to be your Stampin' UP! demonstrator. If you'd like to order any of the products shown, please head to this site to place your order. Hello there stamping friends! Happy Friday! Welcome and thanks for joining me on my blog today. It's so good to have you here. I hope you're having a fabulous day and that you have all been safe and well. Today we over at Just Add Ink have another creative challenge for you. This week we are Just Adding Clean and Simple (CAS). I'm really loving CAS cards (well CAS for me) at the moment. When they are done well they can be really striking and inspiring to other crafters because they aren't all fancy and over the top and to technical to recreate. For my card today I'm showing you a sneak peek of a stamp set from the new Stampin' Up! 2023 Sept - Dec Mini Catalogue (AKA the Holiday Catalogue). This is one of the images from the Gift of Giving Stamp Setand I love it because you can COLOUR it!!!! My all time favourite thing to do when creating my cards. Water colour, Alcohol Markers, Pencils. They bwould all work well with the images from this stamp set. I chose to water colour the image for this card today. I've used the Fluid 100 Water colour paper that Stampin' Up! offer in their catalogue and then stamped and heat embossed the image with Black Embossing Powder. Then using a water painter I coloured the image using the wet on wet technique were you 'paint' water into the part of the image you want to colour and then apply small amounts of ink onto the wet section and watch it flow. Sometimes you have to help the colour around with the water painter to where you want the colour to go. If you feel like you've added too much colour dab the section with paper towel to 'mop' up the colour until you have the desired look you are after. Check out the product list for all the colours used, as I used a lot. I've finished off the card with a simple sentiment and linen thread and some Real Red gems (that are also from the new Mini Catalogue). Becuase the colours are bright and bold I really though that the card didn't need much trim and embellishment so really kept that all farily clean and simple. Go and check out to see what CAS cards the JAI Design Team made on the JAI Blog. I love the out of the box thinking that the DT memebers used for their projects this week. Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I'm participating in the Ink Stamp Share blog hop and our theme for this month is "Anything New". I hope you've been having fun hopping around all the other blogs taking part - I always love to see what everyone has been creating. Christmas Banners is my newest set from the new Mini Catalogue so I went with that. I made both my cards almost the same but changed the card blanks and the colour of the sentiments. And I heat embossed the banner on one in gold and silver on the other. Do you have a favourite? The Christmas Banners set makes it so easy to make cards like these. I love all those different leaves/foliage images. I used a range of different green ink pads - Soft Sea Foam, Old Olive, Garden Green andPear Pizzazz. I do hope you'll continue hopping around all the other links to see the amazing projects everyone has been making. Welcome to the Stamp It Groups Christmas in July Blog Hop. Whether you started with my blog or "hopped" over from one of my teammate’s blogs, I am happy you stopped by! Oh my gosh, this was such a fun card to make!! I started out thinking I would just make the front door with a wreath and maybe a bush and call it good. But after I started messing with the At Home coordinating framelits dies, I couldn't stop adding things to the card. There was even a framelit to make a window in the door. Love it!! Using the coordinating framelits dies really made this card easy. I decided since I could make the door open, I really needed to add a Christmas tree. The tree is from the Lovely as a Tree stamp set and is stamped in the newly released Tranquil Tide ink. I added a Gold Metallic Enamel Star on the top of the tree. The Real Red "ornaments" are the smaller rounds from the Brights Enamel Shapes. All of the die cuts are from the At Home with You stamp set and were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White cardstock, cut out with the At Home framelits dies and then colored with Stampin' Write markers. To make the bricks for the house siding, I used the Brick Pattern Party Mask along with Embossing Paste, both are new products with Stampin' Up! The Embossing Paste is so easy to use, I placed a small amount of paste onto my silicone sheet, added a drop of Smoky Slate re-inker and mixed it together. Next, I smoothed it onto the mask, which I had secured in place over the Whisper White front panel, using one of the new Palette knives. Once the paste was all smoothed on, I removed the mask and let it dry for a few minutes. To make the "porch", I used a small piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack. The Merry Christmas doormat was made with Crumb Cake cardstock. The presents around the bottom of the tree were stamped on to Whisper White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and the At Home with You stamp set. I then cut out the presents using the coordinating At Home framelits die and colored them using Stampin' Write markers. Congratulations Mary Coe! For a long time now, I have both admired and felt intimidated by this fabulous card fold. I'm ashamed to admit that until very recently I've never even investigated the mechanics behind how it works simply because it appeared so complicated. I finally decided the time had arrived to step outside my comfort zone and give this fold a go... Now I'm almost embarrassed to share this tutorial with you. The card base is formed from just four pieces of card stock joined together in the corners, and eight score lines. I admit that I was gobsmacked when I realised how simple and easy it was to make. Lesson learned. 1. Start with four pieces of card stock, each measuring 3" x 6". It's important to have nice straight lines and accurate measurements so the card can move freely. 2. Lay a piece of card stock horizontally on your score board and score at 11/2" and again at 41/2". Repeat for the other three pieces of card stock. Fold back and forth along the score lines. 3. OPTIONAL: ink the edges of the card stock, including the folds, for a vintage look. 4. Lay two piece of card stock vertically on the desk in front of you with the score lines running horizontally. 5. We're going to place adhesive in each of the four corners, 11/2" from the centre of each piece. I've marked the location of the adhesive in the photos below. Make sure you only apply it to the outer section or your card will not operate properly. 6. Add glue or double sided tape to the first corner. I found it easier to work on one section at a time. Make sure your glue or tape is strong enough to withstand a lot of handling... people are going to play with this card! 7. Secure a piece of card stock horizontally across the top of the two pieces that are on your desk. Keep the edges flush and the score lines all lined up. Refer to the photos for correct placement. 8. Repeat the process in the bottom corner. 9. Now we're going to adhere the other two corners, remembering to keep all the score lines and edges lined up nicely. 10. Believe it or not, that's all it takes to complete the card base. Once the glue is dry, you can have a little play with your card. 11. Now to decorate. I must admit that I found this more difficult that the actual card itself... mostly because of how many different spaces there were to fill. If you want to decorate your card the same way I did, you'll need four image panels - two measuring 23/4" x 53/4" and two measuring 53/4" x 23/4" (two vertical and two horizontal). You'll also need eight pieces of patterned paper measuring 11/4" x 23/4" and eight pieces of patterned paper measuring 11/4" x 11/4". 12. I wanted my card to look kind of like a puzzle, so I chose to cut each of the image panels in half so that they split and come together as the card is viewed. If you don't like the idea of cutting your four large image panels, you could opt to have eight individual panels instead. 13. Start with the image that you'd like to appear on the front of the card. Remember, the orientation of the card doesn't matter - you could just as easily start with a horizontal image by turning the card 90 degrees. 14. Use glue or double sided tape to adhere the elements to the front of the card. Avoid bulky embellishments that will hinder the operation of the card and definitely avoid placing anything over any of the edges. 15. Flip the card open to the next area for decoration. Be careful not to turn the card while you're decorating - you don't want to end up with images or sentiments that are upside down! 16. When you come to this section, be aware that the middle pieces will actually cover a whole image panel rather than some of the small pieces of patterned paper. Refer to the photos below. 17. Complete the card with the remaining patterned paper and image panels. I absolutely love this card! Even though I know the mechanism is simple, it's still incredibly satisfying to play with. My 13 year old son thought I had performed some sort of magic when he saw it... in fact, he enjoyed it so much that he appropriated the sample version! Products:
Funny dog stamp our peekaboo stamp collection. This animal rubber stamp can be used on any even surface including paper, card-stock, fabric, terracotta, smooth leather, etc. You can use this stamp on salted dough and soft polymer clay, but we do not recommend it for stoneware clays. The SIZE of the imprint (inches given in BRACKETS!): 2.3 cm by 2.1 cm ( 29⁄32 in by 53⁄64 in) Q: Can you make it LARGER/SMALLER? A: Yes, we can (but we have limits). Please, contact us for details. Turnaround period for this item is 1-2 business days. This carved stamp is sold: - not mounted (rubber part only); - mounted on a wooden block. The stamp is carved from a rubber block by hand. The color of rubber blocks we use differs from piece to piece. So are the wooden blocks – Eugen cuts and polishes each wood block by hand and they differ a lot. That’s why your hand carved stamp will be bit different from the image in this listing, but will always retain the quality of the imprint. CARE: Keep from direct sunlight and heat. Please, do not rub the surface of the stamp too hard in order not to damage your stamp. Do not use with oil paints and don't clean your stamp with oily substances - they may cause rubber damage! The item will be shipped via registered air mail, tracking number provided. Estimated worldwide delivery time is about 10-15 days (for some countries it makes 7 days, for others - 21-30 days). Sometimes, shipping delays occur depending on weather, customs and postal issues. Please, order, keeping this information in mind. Hi all, It's my day for my DigiStamp Boutique DT creation. For my card today, I have used the super cute and VERY useful Christmas Accents set I just know that I am going to get so much use out of th
