Welcome to Magazine Monday. Its been a while since we've had a Walt Disney World related magazine and this 16 page Walt Disney World article will help make up for lost time. From April 1972, this issue of Teen Magazine has an extensive look at Walt Disney World through the eyes of a teenager. I'm not even sure who this pretty young lady is, but boy can see write a diary! This article is long and ends with a fascinating detailed look at the employees (cast members?) of a very young Walt Disney World. The 16 page article is presented below in order, complete with WDW tie-in advertisements. Kurt Russell looks too cool for words.. Wow, what a setup indeed! Kurt gets around... Wow.... Monsanto! Kurt just loves the ladies... I miss the early 1970's. Awesome artwork for your pets. Some pretty faces... Great information on the early WDW employees. The article ends with this page about a contest to win a trip to where else but Walt Disney World! Only three days? I guess there was only one park back then so you only needed three days. Now for some classic advertisements. I used to love that powdered breakfast. Weird early 70's art that always gave me the creeps (and it still does...). I'm thinking she looked nicer before the Yardley... OK, I'm not sure whats going on here, but the smile on the dudes face seems self explanatory... I still have my Toot-A-Loop radio (in white) and it still works great. More early 70's creepy artwork, what were they thinking?

It really doesn’t matter how old you get, a trip to one of the Disney parks is always going to be a magical experience for everyone. Whether you’ve visited as a child, an adult, or a parent with your family, it is usually a fun time had by all. You get to see all of the characters from your favorite Disney films. And then there’s of course the great restaurants and gift shops. However, of course, the best part of the trip is always the rides. How many times have you been on Splash Mountain? Lost count? Us, too! Seasoned vets of the Disney parks may already know about the tricks, tips, secrets, and hacks to get the most out of a trip. Other people who are even better at making a trip to a Disney park the best possible experience are those who used to work there: the former cast members and staff. These folks know everything there is to know about the theme parks, and they’ve shared some great advice to us commoners.

These are so fascinating!
Dorothy Zbornak didn't need words to silence her roommates on The Golden Girls. She would simply raise one eyebrow and look hard at Rose and Blanche until they quieted down. If that didn't work, though, Dorothy had an arsenal of acid-dipped one-liners at her disposal that she would whip out whenever necessary to shut down Rose or Blanche when they grated on her last nerve—which was often, over the course of the show's seven seasons on the air. Played to perfection by Bea Arthur (rumor has it the casting director always envisioned a "Bea Arthur-type" actress for the part), Dorothy got some of the best lines on the whip-smart show. Arthur's brilliantly dead-pan delivery heightened the laughs, while her brilliant facial expressions served up the knock-out punch. Rose and Blanche certainly got in a few digs of their own, but the only person who could match Dorothy in the one-liner department was her own mother. Who knew a knack for zingers could be a family trait? Dorothy's biting way with words may have been genetic, but we can all try to emulate it in real life, if we dare—or we can simply practice raising an eyebrow.
Unfortunately, not everyone chooses kindness.
