Our Second Day In The Parks Tuesday - September 9th 2008 We had breakfast again at 7am and then headed over to the park just in time for the Extra Magic Hours. We enjoyed our favorite rides in Fantasyland, like Mad Hatter's Tea Cups, it’s a small world, Pinocchio and Peter Pan's Flight. Le Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant Le Carousel de Lancelot Fantasyland Mad Hatter's Tea Cups Mad Hatter's Tea Cups It's a Small World Fantasyland During the Extra Magic Hours Fantasyland and Discoveryland are open for the Disney Hotel guests. After we did most of the Fantasyland rides, we joined Buzz Lightyear to fight the evil emperor Zurg and then we travelled with Space Mountain to the outer space. Space Mountain Then we headed over to the Walt Disney Studios Park, because we really wanted to ride Crush’s Coaster. So we were in line for about 45 minutes and then they told us that they had technical difficulties and that they wouldn’t open the ride. Crush's Coaster Flying Carpets Earfel Tower After that disappointing experience at Crush’s Coaster, we went back to Disneyland Park and had a little snack at Salon Mickey, which is only accessible for shareholders of Euro Disney SCA, the operating company of Disneyland Paris. Since I'm a shareholder, we were allowed in. Later we just strolled around the park. Salon Mickey Salon Mickey Mickey Mouse Brioche Sleeping Beauty Castle Disneyland Hotel We wanted to give Crush's Coaster another try and so we returned to the Walt Disney Studios Park again. Luckily there was only a short queue in front of Crush's Coaster. So we got in line and finally were able to enjoy this fun ride. And then we rode it again. What a wonderful addition to the park. Toon Studio Crush's Coaster Crush's Coaster We took a little break at Hollywood & Lime on Hollywood Boulevard. With all the new additions, this part of the park is now such a nice spot to sit down and relax a little. We tried the Perrier “Cocktails” which came in yummy flavors and very bright colors. La Terrasse Rock'n'Roller Coaster Tower of Terror Bellhoper Goofy Cinemagique Walt Disney Studios Park Walt Disney Studios Park Walt Disney Studios Park Later we returned to the Disneyland Park just in time for a late lunch at the Blue Lagoon Restaurant. I was a little sceptical about this restaurant, because I'm not a big sea food fan, but we had an amazing time there. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and you really can’t beat the setting! I had the Mahi-Mahi Fish and Claudia ordered the Pasta. We shared the Goat Cheese as an appetizer and the Creme Brulée for dessert. Then we walked over to Disney Village, because we have found out that they have a Happy Hour at King Ludwig’s Castle – two beers for the price of one. So we had to try that. After a nice evening in the Disney Village we went back to the hotel. Disney Village Disney Village Disney Village Disney Store Santa Fe Hotel Bar Cocktail

AND12U15Y10G12S11B12 S9@ FH6 Fp7Gp10Pp9Ep*** BS8BP*** The Tower of Terror at Tokyo DisneySea has no connection or tie-ins with The Twilight Zone, and is instead themed as the Hotel Hightower, an 1890s' New York City hotel owned by eccentric billionaire Harrison Hightower the Third (who resembles actor Keenan Wynn from Herbie Rides Again) who disappeared on December 31, 1899 while taking the elevator up to his private quarters shortly after taking a mysterious idol of a trickster spirit called Shiriki Utundu from an ancient civilization in Africa. The facade's architectural style is more gothic, and the Tower is located in the American Waterfront area of the park, opposite the S.S. Columbia cruise liner. The ride system for this version is similar to that of Disney's California Adventure's version and that of Walt Disney Studios Paris' version. However, this version is cited as the most elaborate themed of the four, as well as the most expensive version, at an estimated $190 million. Here you can learn more Tower of Terror

Here’s a pretty rare item. Dated 1964 from the New York Worlds Fair a complimentary ticket to Walt Disney’s “It’s a Small World”, presented by Pepsi-Cola. The back of the ticket is even better than the front! Dated 1963 (WED Enterprises, Inc.) and featuring the Tower of the Four Winds by Rolly Crump. Do you think we might see a recreation of this someday? I wish I had this ticket at the Knott’s Preserved event, I could have asked Rolly to sign it! I recently received this ticket from a seller on eBay. Not only was the envelope vintage (and smelled like a 40 year old ticket book!) but check out the stamps the seller used, talk about a time machine!
