This EDITABLE product asks students to sort cards containing the basic differences between DNA and RNA, based on information they need to pull from text. It provides a short reading about the structure and function of each, and cards to be cut out and laminated by the teacher. I first pass out the student sheet and reading, and have my students read and highlight t for key information. Then I hand out the envelopes with the cards and ask students to sort the cards in their blank organizers based on the information in their readings. This can be done individually, in pairs, or in small groups. You can also use the cards as a review towards the end of your unit. I have included a PDF and a Word document, so you can feel free to modify and differentiate to meet your classroom and students' needs. Enjoy!
