Der Telemark-Stich gehört wie der Dalby-Stich zur Gruppe der sogenannten Russischen Stiche und unterscheidet sich auch nur minimal vom Dalby-Stich. Er wird auch Russischer Stich 1+1+1 genannt. Das Stichbild ist sehr dicht, ohne dabei dick zu sein. Telemark-Stich in der Hansen-Notation: UOU/OUOU F1 Für die Freihandmethode: Unter den ersten Faden, über den nächsten, unter den danach, wenden. Über den ersten, unter den zweten, über den dritten und unter dem vierten Faden hinfurch. Für die Daumenfesselmethode: Dieser Stich hat eine aktive Daumenschlaufe (DS) sowie zwei hintere Schlaufen(HS). Die ältere Schlaufe werde ich hier HS2 nennen, die jüngere/vordere HS1. Es wird mit der Nadel von vorne in die HS1gestochen, dann von hinten in die HS2, wodurch sich diese Schlaufe in etwa wie beim Oslo-Stich verdreht, nur eben nach hinten (von 9 Uhr auf 12 Uhr). Abschließend sticht man unter die DS und über den Arbeitsfaden. Der Arbeitsfaden liegt wieder links vom Daumen. Wir beginnen wieder mit der Brezel. Ob ihr nun einmal den Oslo-Stich nehmt um auf zwei hintere Schlaufen zu kommen oder einfach die Brezel mit zwei Schlaufen um den Daumen fixiert und eine davon dann hinter den Daumen schiebt, bleibt euch überlassen. Wichtig ist nur, dass ihr am Ende eine DS und zwei HS habt. Hier seht ihr die beiden HS. Die linke davon wird wieder von der Nadel genommen, von hinten eingestochen und nach rechts (Richtung 12 Uhr) verdreht. Das sollte dann so aussehen. Bisher ist alles identich mit dem Dalby-Stich. Wie beim Dalby-Stich gehen wir unter die Daumenschlaufe aber ÜBER den Arbeitsfaden. Nun wird der Stich festgezogen. So sieht das dann nach ein paar Stichen aus.
