When you’re looking for a house to buy, there’s quite a lot to consider, from budget and square footage to location and accessibility. A real estate agent can help you narrow down your pool of potential houses and steer you in the direction of homes with your requested number of bedrooms and bathrooms, or homes in your desired school district.
What can you expect when you are house hunting as an expat? Here are some tips to keep in mind when you are house-hunting in Germany.
Buying your first house is so darn exciting! Keep an eye out, though—as someone who doesn’t already have experience buying a home, you might overlook some of the smaller things that can really spell trouble down the line. The first house I owned was a renovated summer cottage—and it had so many problems that I didn’t know about until I moved in: faulty wiring, walls insulated with old clothing behind the drywall, a shot well, a finished attic with no ventilation.
Buying a house is stressful. Keep it simple and avoid these red flags that complicate the process.
The Homes at Night project consists of a series of shots produced between a dark fog, between shadows and soft lights.
Whether you're renting or buying, house hunting can be a tedious yet exciting experience. Use this simple spell to help you manifest the perfect home for you! Items you will need Paper Scissors Drawing supplies Tape/glue On your paper, draw out the pattern for a 3D geometric cube or you can save and print this one. You will be using this shape to make a small paper house that will be a magical representation of your future home. Cut out the pattern and write down all of the things you wish to manifest in a home inside the pattern. Be specific, but also be realistic! You want a house with a yard? write that down. You want a house within a certain price range? Jot down your budget. Once you are finished, flip the pattern over and decorate it! As you draw on the outside of your cube envision yourself discovering the perfect home. I drew zentangle patterns on mine, but you can decorate it any way you'd like. Fold your cube up and assemble it. Use glue or tape to secure the corners. This is the base of your

Afgelopen weekend waren de sfeerdagen by Esatto! Lekker kijken dus! Tot ziens by Esatto!

Print Friendly Version Here we are at the beginning of another week. We’re tying to keep it slow going and relaxing this summer, but somehow the calendar always seems to fill up. I’m not complaining though. Although we always seem to be a bit busier that I’d like, I’m thankful that we’re moving forward with…Read more →
These creepy MN homes definitely look haunted!
When we call a place home, instead of a house, we’re ascribing a sort of positive emotion to it. But on the flip side, a windowless, empty house can evoke melancholy, sad, and even spooky emotions as our brains wonder why the people left in the first place. Mortgage costs are boring, it must be ghosts.
Each year on April 10th, National Farm Animals Day focuses attention of the humane care of farm animals. The day also aims to find homes for abandoned and abused farm animals.

So, the listing makes the house sound like a steal and the property is stunning in person—but wait. Before you rush into anything you may regret, watch out for the following signs of trouble ahead.
A very strong note of warning, dear Pandas: your safety is of paramount importance. If you plan on exploring any abandoned places, you need to take the necessary precautions and be extremely careful.

Got on the elevator yesterday with another person that lives in the building and her two friends, we had this lengthy conversation about the woods after she asked me what I was doing with my day and then we said our goodbyes. As I was walking to my car in the garage I heard her out in front of the building laughing and making fun of me for hunting mushrooms in the woods. Hmmmmmm....I thought I was cool. I left a photograph at her doorstep in the hopes that she would come to appreciate fungi a bit more and to thank her for reminding me that not everyone knows the world I know, they can buy things that look like nature at the chain stores and surround themselves with nature "made in China" but you really are not living unless you surrender yourself to the root of it all and realize that the world around you is something to be experienced...to be touched and smelled and seen, to lay down on the moss and view a site like this and know that you are so fortunate to be a part of it all.
Flickr has done something nasty with its processing and re-mapping of this - its actually REALLY sharp.

We took a drive out to a little area we visit for water samples. The minute we pulled up we saw several wild cats around the restroom building. Apparently at times they take shelter inside the structure. Much to my surprise, this was the second shot I fired off at these wild cats that were interested in us but scared of our approach.
