Hello Ai fans! Today I'm sharing two Halloween cards that I made using 4785 – Howl-oween Set We're huge dog lovers in our house but I must say...we don't dress them up. They're both very large dogs and would have NOTHING to do with that sort of thing. The closest we've come is putting a deer antler headband on for a quick picture or the occasional bandanna. My second card is going to a friend who bailed me out of a jam last weekend. For about the last 8 years my kids and I have gone to a Halloween park called Reaper's Revenge with another family. We went this year too only to find out that they are now a cash only business!! Hello?? Who carries that much cash anymore?? (It's rather expensive to attend) My daughter's best friend's dad floated us a loan. Otherwise we would have driven an hour and half for nothing! They have two adorable little dogs...and one of them gets dressed up on occasion so I'm sending this card along with the check for the money I owe him! I think they'll get a kick out of it. And, next year I'll plan ahead! Copics used: T3, C00, R83, Y15, RV52, YR16, YR21, E33,E35,E43

Today begins the last full week of the Countdown to Halloween. The big night is a week from tomorrow. Get your last-minute spooky fix in while you can! Today I offer the 1977 CBS special Bugs Bunny's Howl-Oween. This is a collection of classic Looney Tunes cartoons, each with a spooky theme and perfect for Halloween. There were several such Looney Tunes specials during the late 70s and early 80s made the same way for other holidays. They certainly weren't classics the way the Great Pumpkin and Witch's Night Out are, probably because Looney Tunes cartoons were much more accessible in those days than other cartoons, but they were still welcome additions to prime time children's viewing. For a fun cartoon fix, you usually can't go wrong with Looney Tunes! Enjoy, Doc!

Just beyond Sweet November Land, deep within a dark and twisty wood, there is a place where you will find haunted houses, creepy castles and mad scientist labs galore. This spooky village is inhabited year round by a host of quirky characters that are both a little sweet and a little sour. The only time that they venture out into our world is on that one special night of October 31st. It is then that they can blend in with the crowds of innocent trick-or-treaters and play mischief on all they meet. So light up a jack o' lantern and hold it high as we cautiously trek on into the woods to see who we can find... Listen! Did you hear that? I think I heard the howl of a wolf just over the hill... let's go check it out. At first it doesn't seem as if there is anything or anyone to see but as the clouds begin to part, revealing that full moon up in the sky there is another howl and this time it is much, much closer. Look over there by the fence, it's a werewolf! Approach cautiously, it's never a good idea to startle something with so many sharp teeth. ;) It seems our worry was unnecessary as little Joe Joe introduces himself and explains that he isn't howling because he is on the prowl but rather he has a bit of a tummy ache from eating too much Halloween candy. He has quite the sweet tooth and when he sniffed out a hidden stash of chocolates over in that haunted house he just couldn't help himself. All we can do is tell Joe Joe to get some rest before we journey on and as we leave he hands over the last few melty pieces of chocolate from his pockets... uh, thanks? Well there might be a bit of fuzz on this candy but it does look pretty sweet... The Joe Joe the Werewolf candy kit includes; one Sweet November Joe Joe the Werewolf rubber stamp, nine 6x6 sheets of Doodlebug paper, small Studio G acrylic sentiment stamps, Prima flowers and e.line pearls and gems, ribbon, twine, buttons, decorative stick pins, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card. As we continue on, making our way through the spooky barren trees we start to see them decorated from branch to branch with banners and pennants galore. Is there a party going on? Before we can find anyone to ask about the decor something comes whizzing through the sky just overhead forcing us to drop to the ground. We pick ourselves up in time to see a little witch come swooping in for a landing. She quickly alights from her broom with a spin and a grin, chuckling as we brush the dust from our clothes. She says her name is Hilda and that she is the fastest broom flyer in all the land. Her owl friend, Luna, confirms this statement as she comes down to perch on the broom with a new record time logged into the books. Hilda is quite proud of her high flying skills and she explains that she is preparing for the annual broom races which apparently are quite the event around here. She asks if any of us would like to challenge her in a race... though she warns that the loser will be transformed into a jack o'lantern for the rest of the racing season. A quick look around at all the glowing jacks tells us that we had best leave the broom flying to the professionals... pumpkin orange is not a look that we want to be sporting anytime soon. Don't miss taking a quick peek at Hilda's candy before she flies away with it again... The Hilda and Luna candy kit includes; one Sweet November Hilda and Luna rubber stamp, nine 6x6 sheets of My Mind's Eye Mischievous paper, small Studio G acrylic stamp set, Prima flowers and e.line pearls and gems, ribbon, twine, buttons, decorative stick pins, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card. All you have to do for a chance to win the candy is leave a comment on this post. If you link to the candy on your own blog that is great and much appreciated but not a requirement... I want everyone to be able to play along. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone. I will ship the candy anywhere in the world so everyone is encouraged to play! :) The candies will stay open through Sunday, September 4th and I will announce the winners on Monday, September 5th. And don't forget... the official release date for all of September's new stamps over at ATS is September 8th! Ok, now it's time to hop on a broom and fly on over to the Sweet November Gals' blogs for more howling good cards! Today Leanne is joining Nancy and Rachel and they will all cast a spell on you! Once again... instead of using random generator I will be printing out names and tossing them in a hat SO if you leave comments for the SN gals on their blogs, you will get an extra name in the hat for each one that you do... this will up your chances of winning the candy... fun, fun, fun! :) Day two of our September SN previews is in the books... the spell book that is... ;) Be sure to come back tomorrow to meet the final two special spookables! Hi Ai Fans! I have to tell you when I saw this set I just burst out laughing! This just reminds me of my dogs! Yes I am that person that dresses up their pets for Halloween (much to my Hubby's dismay) LOL!! This is the new "Howl-oween" set from Art Impressions. I'm sure lots of you also do this to your pets! Oh My gosh don't their faces just say it all! See...... I am that person!! I used one of the sentiments and image on the inside of my card. This sentiment rings true for me as well. If anyone knows my fur babies you know they get more treats than they need.
