Provence, a region in southeastern France bordering Italy and the Mediterranean Sea, is known for its diverse landscapes, from the Southern Alps and Camargue plains to rolling vineyards, olive groves, pine forests and lavender fields. To the south is the Côte d'Azur, or French Riviera, where the elegant city of Nice and glamorous resort towns such as Saint-Tropez and Cannes line the coast. This village was discovered as I drove the small rural roads from Nice to further explore the South of France. This village had a few town squares that were lively with cafe life including visitors as well as locals. This square was very beautiful as a gorgeous tree centered the focal point which was surrounded with tables. The colorful shutters and doorways made it come to life. This photo comes in a variety of standard sizes and is printed on archival paper. This photo would look perfect in a kitchen or dining room of any home, or would make an excellent gift for anyone who loves France, particularly Provence. Image sizes 5 x 7 and 8 x 10 will require some cropping.
