Each handmade wooded cross piece is approximately 30x18 and made to order. These beautiful wooden cross pieces are made from salvaged barnwood, oak, cedar pine and reclaimed wood . Each rustic wood cross features Imperfections that add character and charm. We hand select and arrange the pieces to achieve just the right mix of color, texture and character. The thickness is generally ¾” but widths vary. Each piece is finished with Danish Oil to bring out the character in the wood. Hangers are added to the back to allow easy hanging. This is a one of a kind wall piece that is 30.5 inches by 30.5 inches and 1.5 inches deep. Made from reclaimed lath from the ceiling of my studio. The frame is made from the same material. It can be hung from any side you choose. This could also be used as a side table or nightstand if you add legs. It is made from reclaimed lath wood that was originally inside a plaster wall. The wood was naturally aged on one side and the other absorbed some color from the plaster. I kept the natural finish and original nail holes on the wood which brings out character that can't be replicated on new wood. Can be customized. Wood grain may vary. No stain used to achieve color, all natural aged color. This design is copyright protected. Created by Eleventy One Studio Can be hung simply from a couple screws. There is a wood support frame along the back that rests flush and securely on your wall. If you prefer to add any hanging hardware, you can be install it to the wood support on the back without risking any damage to the piece. We use authentic reclaimed wood that is over 100 years old. This wood has so much character that we try to avoid altering the surface when possible. It will have the slightly rough texture of raw wood. Hope had a great 4th. Somehow every holiday lately I end up a little tired, since we usually have the family functions at our house. Still, I love having the family. Since it was a long weekend, when I got off work Friday, I thought I would stop at Home Goods. Just in case they had something I needed. Well of course they did.. A hog and a sheep! Don't you just love them? My question is this, are these Country or French Country. I prefer to think of them as Country French.. or is it French Country? I thought my girls would hate them but to my surpise the loved them! (That would lead me to believe they are not country) I really thought I would get that look and then a, "mommm" but nope.. they actually loved them. You have to love Home Goods for $20 a piece for a hog and a sheep. I had a little trouble figuring out where to put them but think I found a good spot. For now, they are setttled in beside the hutch.. yep the hutch.. I am still waiting for Chalk Paint to arrive for. So what do you think? French Country, Country French or just plain Country?
