A recept megjelent a Kifőztük gaszromagazin 2017. februári számában.

Confession time...I'm a terrible singer. Like, turrible. But I don't let that stop me (Follow your dreams, people) from belting out my own little diddies and dance moves in my therapy sessions. Why? Mostly because it draws attention and makes my students laugh. But also, I know that movements and chants and rhymes can all help my students engage and learn. Like the kind of learning that sticks. Let's take a look at some research:
Tired of illegible handwriting? Struggling to get students to correctly form letters and place them on the lines? After years of trial and error, I've created this handwriting workbook that finally tackles this issue for perfect print handwriting. This workbook focuses on one of the keys to legible handwriting - teaching letters by their common formations. Letters that have similar stroke patterns are grouped into categories like: Uppercase Letters Frog jump capitals : F, E, D, P, B, R, N, M Starting corner capitals : H, K, L, U, V, W, X, Y, Z Center starting capitals: C, O, Q, G, S, A, L, T, J Lowercase Letters Letter Family #1:l, i, t, j, u, y - Down and off in another direction Letter Family #2: m, n, r, b, p, h, - Down and retrace upwards Letter Family #3: c, a, d, o, q, g, e, f, s - Anti-clockwise round Letter Family #4: v, w, x, z, k - Zig-zag letters When it comes to lowercase letter placement on the lines, the "Giraffe Letters" reach tall to the top line, the "Turtle Letters" have a fat belly on the middle line, and the "Monkey Letters" hang from the bottom line. This simple grouping technique really sticks with young students. Lightbulbs go off! They get excited to trace the long-necked giraffe letters that reach way up to the top line. It's a simple hook but incredibly effective at locking in proper letter placement. After forming countless Fs and Qs, I can assure you - this method works! The 42 page workbook features: - Clear step-by-steps for every letter - Tracing, coloring, and writing practice - Cute animal visuals to engage kids - Focus on both capital and lowercase letters I'm thrilled to finally share a resource that makes handwriting instruction easy and - dare I say it - fun! Say bye-bye to the headache of illegible papers and instill legible, correctly-placed handwriting in your classroom. ★ Click the PREVIEW button to see a sample of the designs! ♥ Follow me to be the first to hear about FREEBIES and updates ♥ ♥ Earn TPT Credits when you leave feedback ♥ I welcome and appreciate any feedback, comments or suggestions.
