Mosaikarbeiten sind nichts anderes als Puzzeln…also auch eine Geduldsarbeit (und was für lange Winterabende). Toll finde ich immer, wenn man aus alten, gesammelten Restfliesen, Spiegelstücken und/oder Glasscherben noch was richtig Tolles und brauchbares machen kann. Ich möchte Euch hier den Waschtisch aus meinem Orientbadezimmer vorstellen. Diese Technik lässt sich natürlich auf jeder anderen Holzplatte/Holztablett auch anwenden. Benötigtes Material: Fliesenkleber, Fugenmasse, gesammelte Fliesen, Scherben, Glas, Holzplatte, Glasfasernetz Werkzeug: Hammer, Brechzange, Fliesenschneider, Glasschneider, Stichsäge, Schwamm, Fugenspachtel Passende Holzplatte zuschneiden, gesammelte Fliesen in verschiedenen Farben bereit legen Eine Schablone aus Glasfaser ist hilfreich: man kann die Vorarbeit z.b. draussen bei Sonnenschein machen, das Muster darauf vorzeichnen... ...und anschliessend die Fliesen schon mal mit Kleber befestigen (nicht vergessen Plastikfolie drunter zu legen, damit nicht alles am Tisch kleben bleibt). Einen Grossteil der Fliesen kann man mit einem Hammer klein machen. Möchte man eine ganz bestimmte Form haben geht das am besten mit einem Glasschneider oder Fliesenschneider. Jetzt ist die Hauptarbeit geschafft (bei mir hat das etwa zwei Nachmittage gedauert) Nachdem die vorgesehene Fläche mit Fliesenkleber (ich nehme hierfür immer fertig angerührten Kleber im Eimer) beschichtet ist muss (am besten zu zweit) das ganze Teil rüber gehoben und sorgfältig festgedrückt werden. Über Nacht trocknen lassen ! Am nächsten Tag mit Fugenmasse verfugen , trocknen lassen und fertig. Das Video :
