If you want to take a look inside Magic Kingdom or the Wizzarding World of Harry Potter you're in luck because they are right across the street from each other and easy to do in one day or even 2.Venice Beach is always a hot spot as well as Santa Monica Pier. Take a stroll down the beach or pack a picnic to enjoy the day. If you want a nice little hike go to Griffith Park and make your way to the Observatory for some amazing views of the city. On your way to the park you can catch a glimpse of the Hollywood sign.PensacolaBeach lovers get your sunscreen ready to stay in Pensacola on a budget. With white sandy beaches it's the perfect get away. Pensacola Beach Fishing Pier and Observation Post, Pensacola Beach, Opal Beach, and Navarre Beach are worth sinking your toes in the sand. Stay in an Airbnb and save on hotel fees. With an Airbnb you will have the place to yourself and can either rent a car or take Uber/Lyft if the bnb isn't close to the beach. The Pier and Observation Post has beautiful views of the shoreline and if fishing is your thing just sit and enjoy!AustinAustin is a booming city with so much to do. It will be quite hot in the summer but that's not a problem just jump in the river!! There are plenty of swimming spots for people to get in the water, kayak, swim, tube etc. The Guadalupe River is outside of Austin which most college kids and young adults go to float the river and take a cooler with them. The city itself has a lot of great restaurants, bars, night life, music, and events going on. Summer is a perfect time to visit Austin! DenverSkip the hot summer and head to the mountains for some fresh air or enjoy the city of Denver. There is so much to see and do in and around Denver from restaurants, bars, night life, music, hiking, and more. I loved staying in the city and taking day trips to the mountains for a good hike and change of scenery. Check the concert dates and check out a live concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. The Denver Milk Market has great shopping, Lodo area for bars/restaurants (so many good ones everywhere in general), and downtown has some interesting museums to explore. My favorite restaurants in the city I enjoyed are City O' City, Jelly's Cafe, and Watercourse Foods. In Breckenridge I am in LOVE with Piante Pizzeria which is an all Plant based Pizza place with gluten-free crust options! It was so good and everyone that wasn't vegan loved it and was impressed at how delicious each style was!OmahaPerfect weather for a summer get away without the humidity. You can explore downtown and old town which has some of my favorite restaurants, shops, and bars. Plus in this area you can also explore the Henry Doorly Zoo which is one of the Top 2 Zoo's in the world. With a Desert Dome for you guessed it desert animals, Safari, Arctic, etc. The Zoo is broken up into natural habitat for each animal. For any baseball fans out there, the College World Series is in Omaha in June. People of all ages come from all over the country to stay in Omaha and support their college teams. Great city for families to explore and have a nice time.SeattleSeattle's weather is so beautiful during the summer. You can go out and hike, enjoy the sunny weather that isn't the case during most of the year. Things to explore: Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Seattle Arts Museum, Pioneer Square, Fremont, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helen, and so many other volcanic mountains to explore and trails to go on.Take a ferry to Bainbridge island and wander around the cute little town with small shops, cafe's, and restaurants. Live out that Grey's Anatomy scene and take your ferry across the sound haha.CharlestonCute town, beautiful beaches, what's not to like? It's the best of both worlds getting to almost go back in time with the beautiful landscape and aesthetic of town. Plus the beach isn't far so you can enjoy some fun in the sun. Folly Beach is about a 22 min drive from town with beautiful waters and views.Cut on costs and bundle flights and car service together with Expedia. Sometimes you can get a cheaper rate by combining the two. Plus you know Airbnb will also help to save but if you want to stay in a hotel you can also bundle all three. Portland, OREnjoy Portland, Oregon with plenty of restaurants, hiking, parks, The Gorge, and night life. The Gorge is one of a kind place to explore as you can see in the picture above. If you need to cut cost on hotel Airbnb is your go to, flights I also use Hopper to plan out when the right time to buy my plane tickets will be, and skyscanner to check out cheap flights. San Diego There is more to do in San Diego than just beach related activities! Explore the number one zoo in the country, Old Town, Balboa Park, North Coastal Neighborhood, and Point Loma for a panoramic viewpoint. With plenty to see and do you might want to watch the sunset and slow it down a little. If sunsets are your thang, take a stroll or sit and enjoy the view. Popular spots are at Crystal Pier, Windansea Beach, Sunset Cliffs (Ocean Beach), Coronado Beach, Ocean Side Peir, and Mr A’s Rooftop Bar and Patio in Downtown (12th Floor).Kansas CityDowntown Kansas City, Mo is great to explore during the summer because of a) weather and b) everything you want to see is in walking distance or a short Uber/Lyft. Union Station, Crown Plaza, Crown Center, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and National WWI Museum and Memorial are all in short if not walking distances from each other. Great shops, restaurants, Ice skating at Crown Center, and the views of the city from the WWII Museum are really beautiful. An easy way to save money in Kansas city is to stay in an Airbnb. Some are going for as little as $40/night but have the entire place to yourself! I always check reviews of my Airbnb locations before booking just like any hotel or service.
