February is a gorgeous month in southern California...a beautiful time for visiting local wineries, the skies are bluer than blue this month & wild flowers are everywhere. This weekend we had lunch in the local Wine Country...I couldn't resist taking lots of fotos to share with you...We have over fifty wineries in the Temecula Valley Wine Country...large ones & quaint charming smaller ones...we get many visitors all year long especially in the Spring that flock to taste this years wonderful local wines. Most of the wineries have restaurants that are always filled and definitely have a European flair. I live very close to the wineries in Temecula Valley and love the European feel this part of southern Cali has and of course the weather here is really fabulous all year. I have visited many vineyards in France & Italy and the wineries here in Temecula Valley are just as impressive & charming...The local vineyards resemble the ones in Europe so closely...you'll have a hard time remembering you're in southern Cali...You will recognize the names of some of your most favorite wines right here...the climate in Temecula Valley is just perfect for most varieties. Sharing with you a few fave of the local vineyards... Looking over the vineyards in Temecula Valley... Over 50 charming vineyards in the Temecula Valley... Robert Renzoni vineyards in Temecula Valley Wine Country... Love the simple French bowl to chill the champagnes... Vineyards in Tuscany... Enjoying a glass of wine in Italy... Wine & Cheese at Rue 27 Maison... Until next time....Cheers!
