Our David bust candle is inspired by Michelangelo's David statue. Considered one of Michelangelo's great masterpieces, 'The David' is an exquisite example of his knowledge of anatomy - can be seen in David's musculature, his strength emphasised through the classical contrapposto stance, with weight shifting onto his right leg. A sense of naturalism is conveyed in the way the body stands determined, a confident glare on the young man's face. Because David is a symbol of strength and youthful beauty, we could only call our male bust candle by his name.We are only using Soy Wax and fragrance oils. We love how the 'David' bust candle looks and most of the times we are just keeping it for decor on our coffee table, next to our jewellery dish or near to our favourite book. It's a great match for our 'Venus' female bust candles as well. Some of our candles have colour imperfections, but that's because we like them looking like stone sculptures.
