Hello Friends, and Happy Friday!!! I seriously can’t believe it’s Friday already. We have had family visiting with us this past week, and it just feels like we’ve been in a time capsule. It’s been great to unplug a little and enjoy some family time together, and even though I didn’t get some posts up ... Read More about Farmhouse Tour Friday {vol. 7}
So I had a completely different post scheduled for today, but you know what I just had to share what I have been crushing on lately. I love floor plans! Like guys, I really LOVE floor plans. When I was thirteen, my dad let my sisters and I each pick out our own game for the computer. While my sisters were looking at actual games, in the game section, I searched and search for the perfect software that would allow me to decorate my own house. Unfortunately at that time, they didn't really have anything close to that available, so I took what I could find. A software program where you could create floor plans, and place furniture in those spaces. My dad looked at me with this puzzled look and asked "if I was sure about this". And with every bit of confidence I said YES! I couldn't wait to try it out, lol. So I guess you could say from a very early age I loved looking at floor plans. Planning out the layout for each space, and designing it with the finishing touches in my head. While we aren't looking to build, or moving for that matter, it doesn't matter. Sometimes I just get swept up in the mindset of dreaming and "what-ifs", and I just love it! The possibility, the design, starting from scratch, everything. So today I'm sharing with you 10 Modern Farmhouse floor plans that I love, because well, that's what I have been crushing on lately.

Here's another repeat Feature Friday that I hope you'll enjoy again. I love to see small house living and how creative you can be to decorate them on a budget and yes, with color! Enjoy this one again! *************************************************** Back today with a new Feature Friday, Maggie Overby Studios. Maggie is a design enthusiast, mom and blogger who is also a military wife, which means she's moved 10 times in 18 years. Yikes, that's a lot of moving! I don't think I could handle that lifestyle, but kudos to Maggie for not only taking on the challenge of moving so much, but she has turned their rental house in SC into a little jewel box of a home.

I hope all is well in your world. Today is my last day of publishing a blog post until September. This will be the Summer of piddling and purging. I've got a few items on my to-do list for the next few months. Sit back and allow me to bore you to tears. 180 Closet Design The purging will primarily be done in my closet. If I don't like or can't fit into an item on the day of the purge, it goes to Goodwill. If it has noogies, I will bid the sweater Sayonara. I will thin the herd in my cosmetic drawers. I have a few tubes and bottles older than Estee Lauder herself, taking up valuable space. Next up: My phone. Excuse my humble brag - obviously, I am very popular. Can I help it if kind people and robots are reaching out to me with info on how great their insurance, HVAC, car warranties, and investment companies are? And let's not forget that nice lady who wants to give me that free vacation. I am going to take the Pilates plunge. I have been following/watching this lady for months now. This Summer, it is time to get off the couch and actually do the bending and stretches with her. I will continue to push myself to improve my pickleball game. By the end of the Summer, I hope to actually make contact with the ball. Lastly, the Mister and I have a few adventures planned. I would tell you, but then I would have to kill you. I will be a force to be reckoned with on Instagram. You can follow me here. I will continue to post pretty design photos that I can take absolutely no credit for. I will also be posting good sales and books that I liked. I'll leave the dog tricks to the professionals. I look forward to catching up with my fellow bloggers. I have been remiss about visiting them but will make up for it. Btw... my Blogroll is up and running, If you were on the previous list and have been omitted from the current list, please send me an email, and I will add you. That kind of sums up the next three months for me. If you have any ideas for a blog post or a question for me, leave a comment or shoot me an email. Last but not least, there is a national anchorman who signs off with the words: Thank you for the privilege of your time. It always makes me think of all of my devoted readers that have kept me company for the past eleven years. I thank each and every one of you for taking the time to read my silly little blog. Or even if you are like my family members who only look at the pictures, I appreciate you, too, for stopping by. As the song goes... I'll see you in September. Happy Friday everyone! It's the day of the week where I share lots of lovely inspiration to start our weekends off right. This Friday is interesting for us because we had our first 'house fail' this week with our new {old- 1988} house. Our ceiling has a leak! It's not from the roof like you would think. It's actually in our lower level living room from a pipe we think from our upstairs bathroom. I noticed it when a drop of water hit my head while walking up the stairs. Never a good feeling. Thankfully my grandpa is an expert

It's the weekend - woooop! But before we hit the Friday night bars and restaurants (or take-away and telly?!) - I wanted to squeeze in one more wonderful home tour. 'Projekti Verkaranta' - or for the
