Nicole Adams - I sanded the top down first. Then stained with 2 coats of General Finished Gray Gel Stain, a day apart. Allowed to dry for 3 days. Then brushed on (with a 6" wide brush) General Finishes white glaze, then wiped it along the grain with Scot shop towels. Then did the same with their brown glaze. Followed by a few touch ups with both glazes and the stain. After another couple days, I applied Modern Masters Masterclear in matte finish.
