Cumberland Falls SRP Corbin, KY Cumberland Falls is the highest volume waterfall in the south and second highest east of the Mississippi River, with Niagara being the highest. But that's not all. It is one of two waterfalls in the world that have predictable moonbows, and the only one in the western hemisphere. The other one is Victoria Falls in Africa. All you need are clear skies on two nights either side of the full moon night, or the full moon night itself. It gets very crowded there on moonbow nights, so you gotta get where you can to get a photo. Luckily in this photo, I caught a little swirl action in the lower right of the photo.
