Romy is a drop-shoulders jumper with positive ease which features a very pretty lace detail at the bottom. It is knitted with two yarns held together as one: a fingering weight yarn and a mohair base yarn. Crazy stripes tee is a seamless pullover worked from the top down in 1 piece. Starting with shaping the back and shoulders, stitches are picked up for the front and sleeves and are worked following the contiguous sleeve method, developed by Susie Myers. The stripes going from small to large stripes are shaped by working short rows. Can be worn with no ease, a little negative or positive ease. August 2023 Update! Pattern has been revamped to have a smaller neckline. So if you see notes in projects about casting-on for a smaller size to achieve a smaller neck, this is no longer necessary with v3 of the pattern. To see if the copy you have is indeed v3, look at the last page of the PDF (in the bottom copyright area) and you’ll see a note about which version it is. In 2009 I released Little Coffee Bean cardigan, one of my very first designs. And 10 years later, I’m so happy to release this adult version of the design! Why should only babies have all of the striped cardigan fun? Coffee Bean is a simple top-down, seamless cardigan and would make a great first sweater for beginner knitters (or just a fun, relaxing knit for those more experienced). It uses worsted-weight yarn (I used Berroco’s Ultra Wool) and features an easy 2 row striping pattern. I also created a tips page that includes some helpful photo tutorials (links in pattern). The hardest part will be deciding on which 2 colors you want to pair together! Romy is a drop-shoulders jumper with positive ease which features a very pretty lace detail at the bottom. It is knitted with two yarns held together as one: a fingering weight yarn and a mohair base yarn. The body is knitted from bottom to top: you start by knitting the bottom of the body in the round, then the front and back are knitted one by one back and forth. Shoulders are then joined by a three needles bind off, and the stitches from the sleeves are picked-up to knit them in the round from top to bottom. Note : Following the test, the neckline was slightly lowered down (especially for larger sizes) for more comfort no matter the flexibility of your yarn. NOTIONS & INFORMATION ?
