Spread the loveNo matter how long you’ve been trying or not trying, pregnancy is hard. Pregnancy really takes a toll on a person. Some people absolutely love pregnancy, they love how they look, they feel like they just glow…. well not me. I’m the type of person who just really doesn’t love pregnancy. I don’t get that glow (well maybe it’s the sweat for me) I don’t feel beautiful. My husband could tell me 1,000 times a day and I still don’t feel it. I gain in all the wrong places and I can’t even begin to explain the heartburn, the indigestion, the headaches… The list goes on. We feel as though we have to love pregnancy because after all people do struggle to get pregnant, so many women struggle with infertility. Just because I don’t love pregnancy doesn’t mean I don’t love my baby, it doesn’t mean I’m not grateful to be carrying life. I’ve gotten that before when I told someone I just don’t like pregnancy. “Well be grateful you can even carry a life” “Some people don’t even get the chance to carry a baby” “Be happy you have a healthy pregnancy” Those are just a few […]
Spread the loveIt’s summer time! Although I can’t stand summer in Arizona and would much rather it be fall all year around, I do love the fact that my daughter is home and we get to do all kinds of fun things! I put together a fun list of things you must do during summer! These are all so simple, so fun and make you feel like you have done so much (which if you finish the list, you will have) Summer time to me means summer fires, swimming, parks, picnics, lemonade, ice cream, popsicles, and more. So I’ve added all of my personal favorites to this list. If you’ve never done these, now is the time. You can just print this out and start tomorrow! The kids will really love it, being involved, doing fun stuff together as a family and the laughter, oh the laughter is all worth it. I’ve even included a blank bucket list for you to fill out yourself if you’d prefer that! This bucket list is the ultimate bucket list for the perfect summer. Bonfires, s’mores, lemonade stands, star gazing, water balloon fights, water park, zoo, all the fun things in one! Me and […]

Spread the loveOh it’s my favorite time of the year! Fall! it’s finally cooling down in Arizona and one of my favorite things to do is make some simple shirts with my Cricut Machine. It’s so fun being able to just create what I want. I have a vision and my Cricut helps me bring it to life! After all, I’m having a baby any day now and we all know that we need new clothes after having a baby. So I’m going to walk you through how I made my shirts. Spread the loveBasically we all know 2020 hasn’t been the best, for anyone. For me I’ve lost “friends” I’ve been on the verge or many mental breakdowns, I’ve been depressed, my anxiety has gotten out of control, paypal has locked my account with thousands in it, my mother is in the hospital unable to breathe on her own. I’ve always learned a lot about myself, about life, about faith and about overcoming about SAYING NO. You see growing up I was always with the bare minimal. My grandparents gave us the best possible life and it was absolutely amazing, camping, smores, cookouts, sledding in the backyard, playing board games, drinking hot cocoa, making delicious treats, I mean they did everything. We loved going to there house and always looked forward to it. As I grew up, I became less minimal and I didn’t realize how bad it affected me. Social media is a tough place but it’s my job. I was always comparing my house to someone else’s. I became more materialistic VS. minimalist. I thought I needed all the new stuff, I thought I needed to have the best decor, the best this and the best that. In reality […]

Spread the loveWe had the opportunity to go down to Dewey, Arizona to Mortimer Farms. We’ve never been but heard such amazing things about it. My husband got the day off work and we headed down! It was WELL worth the trip. Nothing seems “normal” anymore. Everywhere you go, masks, extra sanitizing, (which I understand) but at Mortimer Farms we weren’t required to wear a mask. I mean, BLESS IT. Aubrey just kept saying how excited she was to NOT have to wear one. We started by checking in, (definitely recommend buying tickets online). We got in super fast and just started exploring. I’m telling you, All of the things to do, I was blown away. We got there at 10:30 AM and didn’t leave until almost 5pm and I still felt like we had so much to see and experience. We went to the corn maze first and Aubrey and her best friend Annabelle got us lost. (so much fun though) DJ then wanted to eat the raw corn so we went and found a vendor with some roasted sweet corn & OH MY HEAVENS. It was so good. Then, we took the kids to the u-pick strawberry field […]
Spread the loveWow… it’s crazy to think I’m 27 years young.. I’ve been through a lot in my 27 years.. honestly at 15 the path I was going down I didn’t even think I’d make it to 25 let alone 27. I’m so grateful everyday that I’m here today. Waking up on my birthday to my kids giggling in the other room, my baby smiling right up at me, my husband bringing me coffee, sunflowers, the sweetest card, desserts & telling me we’re going shopping alone later! I’m so blessed not because of the materialistic things but I’m Married to my best friend, 3 beautiful little humans, a house, a life, MY LICENSE, a new car, I’m beyond grateful & I never thought I’d have this. I’ve overcome so many things in my 27 years of life. Heart break, pain, addiction, fears, and so much more. I almost died at the age of 15 and man am I glad I’m here today. Check out my blog on overcoming addiction HERE. I overcame my biggest fear… Driving. Yes you heard that right. Driving was my biggest fear. I told myself last year I’d get my license and I finally did it! […]

Spread the loveIf you’ve been following along with me and my family, then you know we love traveling. Sedona is pretty much our second home. We love staying at new places and experiencing new things. We got the opportunity to stay at a new cabin called Tiny Camp! These cabins are so tiny but yet so cozy! My kids we’re beyond excited. I love giving them new experiences, new adventures. When I was a child I was always camping with my family and it’s some of the best memories I have. So of course I jumped at the chance to go stay at a new cabin and I’m so glad I did! It’s called Tiny Camp and it’s about 9 minutes from downtown sedona in the most gorgeous area off Oak creek! (Which is seriously my favorite!) When we arrived and went inside (BTW no checking in, you get a pin to your email to get into cabin, so perfect for social distancing) They had a huge bouquet of flowers for me and a bottle of mimosas!(YES PLEASE) It has the cutest set up, it has a living room area with a tv, a washer/dryer, fridge, bathroom with shower and […]
This is the best creamiest hot cocoa recipe out there.
Spread the loveMe and my husband have been together almost 10 years and we have been to hell and back since then. We’ve overcome so much and that includes being young and dumb. Since it’s been almost 10 years I figured I’d do a blog on 10 tips for a successful marriage. I know every marriage is different but these tips go for anyone and you need to really read this to understand and focus on making your marriage better. We’ve been on the verge of divorce so many times and I’m telling you SO MANY TIMES. Nobody is perfect and everyone has a different view which is why we butt heads so much. 1. Grace upon grace upon grace. Did I mention grace? 2. Love and prefer your spouse over yourself with a self sacrificing love. 3. Be willing to forgive and ask for forgiveness as often as needed. 4. Always assume the best in your spouse. 5. Let your love, appreciation and respect be unconditional. Even if the other person seems “undeserving” for a time. 6. Be willing to examine your own heart before becoming defensive or finger pointing. 7. Be more committed to unity than you are […]

Spread the loveSO… with everything going on in the world when I got pregnant with my 3rd, I knew I wanted to have a home birth but it was all so overwhelming. just hearing I need this and that and don’t forget this and that. Plus how do you find a midwife who will do a home birth? So much goes into a home birth and not only that but most insurances don’t cover that. I had preeclampsia with my daughter (8 years ago) and I was terrified I wouldn’t have that option. So, It took me a long time to finally say okay i’m going to do this. I wanted to get the okay from my obgyn just because she knew my previous pregnancies, deliveries, etc. I ended up not even seeing her until I was around 22 weeks. I failed my glucose right before I switched to a midwife. (I knew nothing was wrong with my levels but they had me eat before which was crazy to me since they always told me NOT to eat before) Either way I thankfully switched to my amazing midwife and she just had me prick my finger for 3 days 4x […]
Spread the loveSummer is coming to an end so soon and since Aubrey is going back to school, I wanted to share how we do our movie nights around here! Let’s have a movie night with Cricut! I don’t like taking both kids to the movie theatre by myself so I decided to bring the movie theatre to my house! All thanks to Cricut I’m able to customize pretty much anything. I’ve made so many things but this has to be one of my favorites. It’s so very simple but so much fun. Creating a whole movie night set up for my kids was the best. The look on those little faces was just magical. So I’m going to walk you through how I did each project here. I did fake movie tickets, candy bags for the kids, a “candy bar”, Chocolate overload candy jar, and even made us t-shirts for our movie nights! It was a blast! So let’s get started! The first thing I did was get all of my supplies together. Supplies Used Cricut Maker Red, Black & Yellow Iron On Black Vinyl Cricut Pens Transfer Tape Cricut Portable Trimmer Cricut Card-stock Weeding Tool Scissors Scraper Cricut […]
Spread the loveIf you follow me on Instagram then you know I love taking photos, I’m not a photographer by any mean but I definitely have an eye for the perfect photo and I’m 100% a perfectionist. My photographer moved away so since then I’ve just been taking birthday photos myself and I love doing it! I may go a little overboard but that’s okay! My sweet baby boy turns 4 January 26th & my mama heart just can’t take it. I always pictured myself with one boy and one girl. When he came along I thought we were done but little did I know we weren’t. I’m so glad because watching him become a big brother has been the most magical thing ever. He’s so sweet, so kind and so gentle. He’s constantly asking to hold his baby sister, kissing her head and just showing her so much love. It’s just the sweetest. Being a Mother is so hard, it’s truly the best but also so incredibly difficult. I got pregnant with him at a hard time but he truly adds a piece to our puzzle that we needed and we didn’t even know it. He’s such a mamas […]
