About The Artwork Stare endlessly at the beauty of the Horizon and take in the perfect blend of colors that bring out a sense of serenity to the soul. This work of art mirrors a time freeze of the horizon just seconds after the sun disappears into the ocean. The creator of this artwork has used a mix of dark and splendid colors amidst the clouds and then reflects similar hues against the ocean. The brilliance of auburn and magenta instantaneously catches the eye as it contrasts against the impending darkness, capturing the splendor of post sunset. BORDALO II: Garbage, the new street art aesthetic
Octave Day of Christmas
About The Artwork 'Fragmental Story IV.' is an acrylic painting /16 x 20 in/ on synthetic resin coated darkroom photographic paper. This paper is similar to YUPO paper and I sometimes use it for its excellent quality in manipulation and condition. This artwork is mounted on 300 g white Snowdon paper and is titled and signed two times, on the front and on the back. Unframed. This artwork IS NOT prepared for instant hanging. As an abstract artist I focus on a strong use of perspective and geometric shapes to deconstruct the scene before which I then reconstruct to new 'private' painting language. Thus it is an artistic trend in which forms, colours, patterns, textures and materials combine to make a visually rich and meaningful object. I always try to create pictures that are less informative and more suggestive, where space is left for viewers to stimulate their fantasy and imagination. The colours sometimes vary on the computer monitors and may differ from the original version. This is a 17x23 mixed media painting on paper. It has a "companion" piece that I posted earlier this month. As I have said before, Prussian Blue is my favorite blue and I really like it in combination with gold or ochre. Sometimes you find yourself infatuated with certain colors. And it is hard to break away and try others. I like Prussian Blue so much, that I don't care if I use it all the time!
As the golden sun dips towards the horizon, it casts an ethereal glow over Achmelvich Bay, captured exquisitely in this Abstract Impressionist portrayal. The canvas comes alive with a tapestry of vibrant yellows, fiery oranges, and tranquil blues, reflecting the serene yet dynamic beauty of the Scottish coastline at the most magical time of day. This art piece invites viewers to immerse themselves in the sweeping curves of the bay's shore, artfully rendered through the interplay of colour and light. The rocks that adorn the cove bask in the sunlight, their edges softened by the abstract style, hinting at the gentle lapping of waves upon the shore. The expressive brushstrokes embody the essence of the cove's natural splendour, inviting imagination to wander through the subtle gradations of colour that evoke the reflections of sky on water. Shimmers of turquoise and hints of green peek through the water's surface, suggesting the depths beneath and the life that thrives within. This print, from our 'Scottish Coves' collection, is more than a mere representation of a place; it is an emotive piece that celebrates the collision of land, sea, and light in a dance of spectral magnificence. It is a tribute to the rugged, untouched glory of Scotland's coastal treasures, wrapped in the cloak of abstract artistry. Envision this piece as a centrepiece in your living space or a captivating addition to your private collection, where it can transport you each day to the tranquillity and splendour of Achmelvich Bay at the golden hour.
About The Artwork I am driven to express what has been revealed to me during intense moments of transformation. When one colour blends naturally into another and the emerging painting captures the essence of the revelation I experience a sense of peaceful completion. Explaining my work any further would be to make up a story as there is really nothing more to say. Hope it speaks to you:-) Original Created: 2021 Subjects: Abstract Materials: Canvas Styles: Abstract Abstract Expressionism Fine Art Mediums: Acrylic Details & Dimensions Painting: Acrylic on Canvas Original: One-of-a-kind Artwork Size: 23.6 W x 31.5 H x 1.6 D in Frame: Not Framed Ready to Hang: Not applicable Packaging: Ships in a Box
