🌿MADE TO ORDER: 1-2 weeks🌿 This wide base mountain shelf is stained in a variety of colors and features a moon phase pull out drawer and geometric sun / moon design on the left side in your choice of paint color. See last image for stain color examples. The base of this shelf is deeper than usual for all your larger items. It has a 5.5" deep base and the remainder of the mountain is still a good size at 3.5" deep Features hanging hooks on the backside for easy wall mounting This is a basic pull out drawer. No hinges or handware is used so there will be small gaps on the side and top so it's easy to remove the drawer from the shelf. The knob is very easy to hand twist tight, but there will be a part of the screw that is present inside of the drawer. 24" long and 16" tall are the approximate measurements All items in our shop are handcrafted by our small family business. Please note that there will be variations in the final product as each item is individually crafted from Canadian ethically sourced pine. We always do our best to showcase what our finish products look like but as it’s not a factory produced item there will be unavoidable differences
The word altar comes from the Latin altare, which means “high”. Our ancient ancestors believed that their Gods lived “high” in the sky, clouds, and atop mountains and that our altars were designed to help us connect to these lofty places.
Imbolc is halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. It symbolizes the coming of spring. The snow has not yet thawed but we can see signs of the forthcoming spring. This is a time of growth and renewal. The dark period is not yet over but we are preparing for the suns rebirth. Lighting candles and fires welcome in the new energy and with a broom we sweep out the old. Whether or not you celebrate these ancient traditions, now is the time to shed your old skin, let go of what is no longer serving you and usher in the amazing new things waiting for you just around the corner. Tomorrow is the new moon which is a fantastic time for manifesting what you want to bring into your life in the coming year.
