A blog about how a failed painting made me rethink the theories of composition in my painting of Donegal, Ireland.
It may actually be mandatory at this point to begin any kind of 2020 roundup with an acknowledgement of how shit the year was, and how impossible it was to focus on the good parts, and how anything…

I won’t pretend to be a comic book connoisseur. My brother and I collected Tintin books for our father to read to us before bedtime and well, that’s about as far as it went for my foray into the graphic arts world. But now I’m wondering, if I had spent a little more time at the comic…

‼️ PLEASE READ ‼️ Sublimation can be done on LIGHT colored fabric, containing at least 65% polyester. The higher the polyester count, the more vivid the image. The image will appear light on paper but will be vibrant on your polyester item. Using a cotton based fabric will give a more vintage look. Instructions to press sublimation transfers: Tape image to shirt using heat press tape to prevent the image from shifting and causing a shadow. Place a sheet of paper between the layers of the shirt to prevent the image from going through to the back. Press at 385-400F for 60 seconds at high pressure. Remove the transfer immediately after pressing. My transfers come ready to heat press and will not have water-markings. I use only the highest quality sublimation printer inks and paper. They have been tested and proven to provide the best quality prints onto sublimation materials when applied properly. -Infant 4” -Toddler 5.5” -Youth 7.5” -Adult 8.2” - 10.8” ⬆️ These sizes are the width of image. Measurements are an estimate and might vary slightly based on what looks best before printing. This measurement will be for the widest part of the image. If you are needing a specific size just let me know and I’ll be happy to help! ** THESE TRANSFERS ARE PRINTS, READY TO PRESS. THESE ARE NOT DIGITAL FILES UNLESS MARKED AS SUCH. PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE ORDERING THE CORRECT ITEM. ONCE THESE ARE PRINTED, NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.
