This is unique, collectible author`s miniature created with the help of needle felting technique. Usage of various gradations of high quality wool and colors of silk makes the sculpture lifelike. Also, there is a wire frame inside of it. The frame gives stability and makes sculpture`s wings and body mobile. As aconsequence, it can sit and stand in different poses. Sculpture`s glass eyes were made in Germany and are hand painted in addition. My works are made without any dyes and wool toning . (I don`t paint wool. I don`t do toning.) Only natural components used. The dimensions of bat : Wingspan --- 14.17 inches ( 36 cm) Full height with a head ---4.33 inches ( 11 cm) Also included Halloween Pumpkin ;-) All of my wool sculptures are for adult collectors only ! Dit is een unieke, verzamelbare auteursminiatuur gemaakt met behulp van naaldvilttechniek. Het gebruik van verschillende gradaties hoogwaardige wol en kleuren zijde maakt het beeld levensecht. Er zit ook een draadframe in. Het frame geeft stabiliteit en maakt de vleugels en het lichaam van de sculptuur beweeglijk. Hierdoor kan hij in verschillende houdingen zitten en staan. De glazen ogen van het beeld zijn gemaakt in Duitsland en bovendien met de hand beschilderd. Mijn werken zijn gemaakt zonder enige kleurstoffen en wol toning. (Ik verf geen wol. Ik doe niet aan toning.) Alleen natuurlijke componenten gebruikt. Imagine it’s a summer evening. It’s nearly dark, but you can still see shapes and shadows. An intelligible creature speeds up in the skies, and there’s a barely audible high-pitched screech that accompanies it. Someone tells you that it’s a bat, and if you’re unlucky enough to be wearing white and have long hair, they warn you to go inside, or else a flying vampire mouse will definitely come at you just to tangle in your locks and have a taste of your blood. However, you know better than that - instead of running in panic, you think to yourself that there’s nothing more charming than a cute bat, and oh, how you’d wish to see it up close!
