In the artist's own words: 'exploring shapes, curves and techniques, i produce aesthetic and functional one-of-a-kind pieces, imagining creating "ceramics to eat" all of my products are handmade and i often like to start by doing a sketch with pantones, letting myself be inspired by what i see around me or what i feel inside. i find the initial sketch a fundamental tool in the creation of the project, necessary to focus attention on the composition, between shapes and colors. i am fascinated by color contrast and a vibrant, imperfect type of illustration where reality and imagination meet to create well-defined curves supported by a palette full of bright colors. each piece is entirely hand molded and decorated using a local white clay made from a mixture of kaolin clays and calcium and magnesium carbonates. no piece is exactly the same, which lends uniqueness in look and feel. i want to create products that convey positive feelings and don't claim to be perfect but instead joyfully imperfect.' signed by maker less
