🐾The best things in life have paws.🐾 I want to surround myself in the beauty the world has to offer; that’s what this blog is for because there’s so much ugliness in real life that I need something to remind me of all the beauty that exists too. I’m constantly seeking peace of mind in a chaotic world. Beauty can be found all around us and it takes many forms - nature, kindness, animals, art, people of all shapes and colors, different cultures and music. I find beauty and joy in a wide variety of things and my interest are very eclectic. Animals are one of my favorite things in this world. What I blog really just depends on my mood and where my various wanderings through Tumblr take me. I love trees & flowers, forests and cottage core, the ocean, all forms of art and architecture, books, and anything pretty and cute. I love to study science, history (especially ancient history) & anthropology/archaeology. Also, I’m a total geek and love all sorts of geeky stuff, especially Harry Potter, MCU, Avatar the Last Air Bender, Star Wars, and a bunch of others so that’ll show up on this blog too. I think femininity is particularly beautiful, so there are pictures that depict the female form. I like men too so there might be some pictures of men as well, I just tend to like looking at female beauty a bit more. This is just my place to get away from it all and share the things I enjoy. I mainly just reblog what I find on Tumblr but if I've posted something of yours and you would like it removed/credited just let me know.

The Minimalists, Joshua Fields Millburn & Ryan Nicodemus, according to their site, helped 20 million people through their many platforms understand and execute a minimalist design at home. I’ve always struggled with the idea of minimalism as expression of design, so their aptly named company began my internet research to look for a fresh perspective. And with Kim and Kanye’s new “minimalist monastery” home in design news, there were plenty of hot takes. But this stuck with me from Millburn and Nicodemus: “Minimalism is a tool that can assist you in finding freedom. Freedom from fear. Freedom from worry. Freedom from overwhelm. Freedom from guilt. Freedom from depression. Freedom from the trappings of the consumer culture we’ve built our lives around. Real freedom.” This is the sentiment I really connected with. The reminder that there is true beauty in simplicity. And furthermore, the ability to appreciate that simplicity in such a true way that it frees you from artifice. If total minimalism is not your style, don’t fret. We suggest focusing on the philosophy of it instead. Neutral color palette, high quality pieces, low clutter. Moreover, the reminder that things don’t make a home and the acquiring and accumulation of […]
