This feels like a frankly insane amount of laundry, and it bugs me that she brought that much with her and never discussed it with me at all. It also makes me really anxious because this is a 70-year-old home.
Overthinking, analysis paralysis, and setting our imaginations loose to tackle problems that might not even occur are some of our biggest weaknesses. They lead to a lot of anxiety and, you could argue, they’re the symptoms of far bigger problems—deep-seated perfectionism and insecurity.
Not to sound too cheesy, but we love our dads very much. They’re the epitome of strength and wisdom, and they’re an endless source of dad jokes mixed with a subtle willingness to gently embarrass their kids. They’re a force of nature to be reckoned with. In short, dads are totally rad, and we don’t think they get the recognition they deserve.
Merriam Webster dictionary defines a meme as an idea, behavior, style, or usage that spreads from person to person within a culture. And it’s no secret that they have become the unofficial fuel of the internet. From Bernie’s mittens and Pence’s fly to the year 2020 and the ship stuck in the Suez Canal, everything gets turned into a meme. And while they’re often fun and give us a much-needed cringe fix, sometimes they get a little harsh and cross the line.
