The lakes of the Adirondacks were loaded with water lilies, something I am not use to paddling around. I tried for a different perspective by shooting underwater up through the lily pads as the sun rays shined through. ----- July 29th to August 2nd, my brother and I kayaked the first map of the the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, Old Forge to Long Lake in the Adirondacks of New York. It was an incredible adventure through a pond, 11 lakes, a boggy marsh and 1 river. We set up primitive camping each night in different locations, Seventh Lake, Raquette Lake, Forked Lake and Raquette River. I used two cameras through the journey, a waterproof point and shoot and my Nikon DSLR. Become a Fan on Facebook! PLEASE NOTE: All Rights are Reserved. Found in the MFA.
Penguins live almost exclusively below the equator. And while some of these flightless seabirds can be found in warmer climates, most—including emperor, adélie, chinstrap, and gentoo penguins—spend their lives in and around Antarctica. A continent separated from the rest of the world by water. Not really a place where cats would choose to go to.

I shot underwater and it was fun
Forget what you learned in the history books. More often than not they only tell one side of a story filled with nuance.
