Gabriel Dawe’s Threaded Rainbows are Beautiful

On display until January 22, 2017 at the Toledo Museum of Art is Plexus no. 35, by Mexican contemporary artist Gabriel Dawe (featured previously).

The ethereal textile artwork consists of thousands of multicolor threads carefully stretched and placed. The site-specific installation is located in the museum’s ‘Great Gallery’ surrounded by the some the institutions most prizes paintings; setting a stunning visual contrast for guests.
