Surreal Double Exposures of Faces Blended Into Plumes of Ink in Water

Written by

Inspired by the work of Albert Seveso, South African artist Chris Slabber blends faces with high-speed photographs of ink dropped into water. The double-exposure like digital artworks were recently exhibited at the Art Karoo art gallery for KKNK 2014.

The project was recently featured on Behance where Chris explains:

“The idea behind this series was to show that from Destruction comes Creation. As the paint falls there is a constant point of creation, but at the same time it destroys itself.”

Prints are available through Saatchi Art and you can see much for of Slabber’s work on Behance.
