EC Vitoria is a Brazillian football team from Salvador, Bahia. They are a Series B team that is in the midst of a brilliant marketing campaign for blood donation. The team jersey typically features four horizontal red stripes. At the start of the season the team replaced the red stripes with white stripes.
As supporters donate blood and hit certain targets, the red stripes will be progressively restored throughout the year. The campaign slogan translates loosely to: “Vitoria has always given blood for you, it’s time to reciprocate”
