Daniel Arsham just released the latest installment of his Future Relic series entitled Camera (2014). The artwork depicts a sort of fossilized version of a modern-day SLR camera made from plaster and broken glass.
OHWOW Gallery announced the second chapter of Daniel Arsham’s Future Relic series, with the release of his film “Future Relic 02”, and a limited edition object, called Camera (above). Future Relic 02 is a 9-minute film that tells the story of Camera – an archetypal camera cast from a mixture of plaster and broken glass. Contextualizing the “discovery” of this object, the film serves as a theatrical narrative, starring James Franco with costumes by Public School.
The limited edition of 450 Cameras (5.75 x 6.25 x 3.75 inches) will be on sale through OHWOW on Friday, November 28 @ Noon EST. For more info visit OHWOW.
