Nobody Captures the Mystical Wistman’s Wood Like Neil Burnell

Dubbed “The Wizard of Wistman’s”, award-winning photographer Neil Burnell gained global recognition with his eerily beautiful images of Dartmoor’s Wistman’s Wood in 2019.

This year Neil is releasing a new body of work from Wistman’s Wood—12 previously unpublished images, many large scale panoramics—available as limited edition prints through Taylor-Jones & Son Gallery.

Wistman’s Wood is a remote, high-altitude forest in Dartmoor, Devon, England. The surreal landscape appears straight out of a fantasy novel with dwarf oak trees, moss carpeted boulders, and lichens galore. For more breathtaking photography from Burnell check out his work at the links below.
