Eiifel Tower dressed in red lights during 04 chinese new year... not a fake... just wonderfull
Taken during the Chinese New Year 2004, when the lights on the Eiffel tower were turned red!
After admiring the red geraniums at the Plaza Athénée for years, I finally have my own Parisian window boxes, filled with pink geraniums and fresh herbs.
My Five Friday Finds from France include the famous French Sunday Lunch, how to make the best bone broth, a trip to Prescription Cocktail Club and more!
Since its construction in 1889, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most familiar builings of Paris and the fourth most visited place of France with over 5 million visitors a year. Though it belongs to the city of Paris, the Eiffel tower is administrated by a the Société Nouvelle de la Tour Eiffel (SNTE). All three levels of the tower can be accessed and visited, though only the first two ones can be reached by stairs. It is opened quite late, allowing night views in all seasons, though taking good photos from the tower is not always easy.
