It's actually one week from today that the new 2014/15 Annual Catalogue is open for orders. Are you excited? I certainly am. I've had the opportunity to get a few "sneak peek" products with which to play and if nothing else, they've whetted my appetite for more. I've already used a couple of the brand new 2014/16 In-Colors for my blog hop post. Today I'm going to show off another one along with the Hello Honey that you've already seen. Tangelo Twist is not really an orange. It is more along the line of a tangerine or even a light blood orange. I used both colours to stamp the background using the new stamp set, Work of Art. I simply off-stamped once for the lighter colour and then used the full colour of ink on the second stamping for each of the colours. Then, using black ink, I stamped the silhouette of the tree and birds from the Serene Silhouettes stamp set. I also used black ink for the sentiment. My base cardstock is Tangelo Twist and I've used a layer of Basic Black to outline the Whisper White on which I've done the stamping. It's a simple card but it certainly has a WOW factor, doesn't it?
I used the Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Petals stamp set bundle and the new 2021-2023 In Colors from the upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalog to create a thank you card to share with you today. I d…

Hello stamping friends, I have another sneak peek to share with you from the 2024-2025 Annual catalogue. As a demonstrstor we have access to preorders from new upcoming catalogues. When I first saw the Country Flowers Bundle, I knew it was one that I would love. The stamp set includes two different containers, three foliage and flower stamps, a stool and five greetings. For this card I stamped the front pail and flowers first. I created a mask for the pail and then stamped the stool and the teapot and flowers. I stamped the stool again on a piece of woodgrain card stock from the Country Woods DSP and fussy cut it out. I trimmed the stool so that it would fit behind the front pail. I coloured the image with my Blends Markers and cut out the image with a Deckled Rectangle Die. Happy Easter stamping friends, be sure to pop back soon for more peeks from the new catalogue. If you live in Australia and do not already have a demo, contact me and I can send you your own catalogue as soon as it's available. Happy stamping, Rachel

The ideas just keep coming for everyone's favorite Sale-A-Bration stamp set and punch combo, Thoughtful Blooms! I am stuck on a bit of a purple craze with this set right now. Maybe some springy-ier colors will 'bloom' later in the year! This card was inspired by an embroidered decorative handtowel my mom has in her bathroom. It says "bloom where you are planted" and each of the flowers is a different button from her grandmother's button box. It made me smile as I laid out my little row of garden! This is also a great layout to use up scraps....

#stampinup #faithfulinkspirations One of my all-time favorite color combinations is pink and green and I think the combination of Watermelon Wonder and Pear Pizzazz on today's card really pops! And I used the "Petite Petals" stamp set and Petite Petals Punch again because I'm going to miss these old favorites! I started by stamping the lined stamp from the also retiring "Gorgeous Grunge" stamp set in Pear Pizzazz on a 3-3/4" by 5" Whisper White panel. One of each line is stamped full strength and the other is stamped half-strength...in other words, I stamped the image again without reinking it. I added a couple of dashes of of the "Gorgeous Grunge" splatter stamp in Watermelon Wonder. Next, I added a couple of pieces of Tasty Treats Washi Tape (sold out) and then stamped a sentiment from the "Oh So Succulent" set in Pear Pizzazz. I adhered this to a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Pear Pizzazz mat and then onto a Thick Whisper White Card Stock card base, cut lengthwise. Next, I stamped three of the flowers from the "Petite Petals" set in Watermelon Wonder onto a Whisper White scrap and punched them out with the Petite Petals Punch. I curled the petals slightly with my bone folder and adhered them to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. For a finishing touch, I added a Basic Rhinestone Jewel Embellishment (sold out) in the center of each flower. (There will be rhinestones in the new catalog--just in a different configuration.) Remember to get these items before they retire--or before they sell out. Just click on the thumbnails below and you'll be taken to my online store where you can place your order! tams# 13213 Product List Petite Petals Wood Stamp Set [133152] $16.00 Petite Petals Punch [133322] was $13.00 now $9.10 Gorgeous Grunge Clear Stamp Set [130517] $18.00 Oh So Succulent Photopolymer Stamp Set [142992] was $21.00 now $15.75 Watermelon Wonder Classic Stampin' Pad [138323] $6.50 Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin' Pad [131180] $6.50 Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Thick Cardstock [140272] $7.00 Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [100730] $9.00 Pear Pizzazz 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [131201] $8.00 Tasty Treats Designer Washi Tape [142773] SOLD OUT Rhinestone Basic Jewels Embellishments [119246] SOLD OUT Stampin' Dimensionals [104430] $4.00 Bone Folder [102300] $7.00

It is always exciting to get new stamp sets and getting them inked up. This card evolved…there was no plan only stamping, die cutting and then the desire to make something from the pieces created. In the end I like the result. Floral Essence DSP was placed at the bottom of the card base and a strip of gold card stock that was die cut with an old border die. The top portion of the… Continue reading

We have used Vellum and Markers to make a stained glass look, this month lets use Vellum and Alcohol Ink. We created beautiful accent pieces for our cards. All you have to do is cut out the Vellum using Dies, color with SU Blends and let dry. Add cardstock accents to the colored shapes by adhering to the vellum. Our first card uses the Peaceful Moments stamp set and Poppy Moments Dies, bundled together to save 10%. I really like the font on the stamp set and the dies are a must have. I really think that the colored vellum and the poppy dies are just beautiful, what do you think?
