I've been working on this project for months during my free time. I had many problems with hair, I lost files and there were some times when I wanted to let it go. But I finally finished it! I can't say I'm a real Spider-Man fan, I've just read like 3 comics and most of what I know, I know it from movies. But still, he is my favourite. I fell in love when the 2000 movies came out, I didn't know how to draw humans and I started trying thanks to Spider-Man. I remember myself trying to solve anatomy problems while copying him from cereal boxes... So even if I'm no real fan, he is still a hero to me and has special place in my heart, that's why I decided I needed to do this. As you can see it's the classic design, based also on the Raimi Suit, my main goal was to achieve a similar style to How to Train Your Dragon, and I wanted to experiment with the hair shape and specially the simulation on his suit. Hope you like my take on this iconic character!
Link from the Legend of Zelda! For this project, I wanted to see if I could be fast by just going for a final picture in my head. This meant no full body model, no turn around, just working on what I would show in the final picture. I reused the bofy topology of Bruce Wayne that I'm working on and tried to do things fast. Very few different pieces, and quite simple designs overall, with high res texturing to compensate for the lack of details. I based his design quite a lot on the main character of the movie Onward, my main goal was to avoid the Manga/Anime look and give him a big nose like he had in Ocarina of Time. Hope you liked this! I certanly enjoyed it and I look forward to making more of these quicker shots for other projects :D
